From its elevated position on the northern coast of Catalunya, the villa delivers jaw-dropping sea and mountain views you'll be Instagramming in no time. Beautiful bays and forested landscapes, scattered with traditional villages, can be admired from the generous villa windows and pool terraces, which are delicately surrounded by attractive Mediterranean gardens.

Step inside this spacious whitewashed villa, and you'll be spoilt for choice with the four bedrooms - all tastefully decorated, and in keeping with the panoramic views. And, with four separate bathrooms, it's just as good for families as it is for friends sharing.

At the heart of the villa is the open-plan living and dining area with inviting sofas for those cosy nights in. But, if you prefer a spot of al fresco dining, you'll be spoilt for choice. With no less than five pretty patios with stunning vistas and even a stone barbecue to make the most of it, you'll be hard pushed to stay inside! And then there's the private pool to cool off in after all that glorious Spanish sun, of course.

Just 3km from the seductive beaches of Sa Riera, Sa Tuna, and Tamariu, amongst others, it's the perfect family destination. If the kids aren't splashing around in the pool, they'll be begging you to take them to the sandy beach which is considered by many to be part of the finest coastline in Spain. There's also plenty of lovely restaurants and bars in the area, so no hunting down somewhere to feed the kids (or yourselves) when they finally pull themselves away from that sea.

Fancy visiting a medieval village? You're in luck. The wonderful town of Begur, complete with narrow streets, neoclassical mansions, a castle and some seriously stylish restaurants is only 1.5km away. Simply stunning.

Whatever you're picturing, it's even better. Tamariu is a truly delightful seaside village, and its beach is considered one of the best on the Costa Brava.

The small crescent-shaped beach, surrounded by pine-clad headlands, is wonderfully sandy and blessed with translucent waters.

Originally a fishing village, Tamariu has retained much of its charm and identity, due to the nature (good fortune) of its rather rugged (but beautiful) coastline, and the challenging journey for those navigating the narrow hillside roads.

And thank goodness for that, as what we are left with is an utterly charming stretch of coastline occupied by like-minded discerning tourists who respect the local countryside and embrace the traditional restaurants and tapas bars found in this gem of a village.

There are welcome additions too; a popular promenade, a couple of well-stocked mini-markets and great waterfront restaurants. This is one special place to enjoy a family meal; just soak up the atmosphere as dusk falls.

Alternatively, head out to the little medieval town of Begur, just 1.5km away. Well worth the visit, this beautiful town with its narrow streets and crumbling buildings make for a great day trip or the perfect venue for a sublime supper.

The villa is a lovely place for kids to hang out - teenagers and older children will love having their own space, while children of all ages will love swimming in the pool. The outdoors area all good to run around and play, will ensure many fun evenings!

The house is a beautiful family retreat in a quiet location but close to so many fun things to do together as a family, from exploring beaches to having dinner in the old town of Begur.

The shoreline of Begur is overlooked by pines and cliffs, and is one of exceptional beauty. Even in the Costa Brava, where there is no shortage of beautiful coves and beaches, you may be a little overwhelmed.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €500 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm
Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights
Changeover day Friday.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax The tenants will need to pay a tourist tax of €0,90 per person per night for over 16's , not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
