An expansive and contemporary property found in the beautiful region of Aiguafreda, Villa Garbi combines all of the elements of modern luxury with the ease of Spanish living. The exterior of this property is an awe-inspiring sight. The private garden area has enough space for all of the family and is the ideal spot for playing games and roaming free. There is also a barbecue area and a sun lounging area, giving guests multiple spaces to wind down and let go of their worries. Next to the garden is a spacious swimming pool that is surrounded by traditional tan-coloured tiles, adding to the relaxed feel of the property. Villa Garbi also contains multiple outdoor terrace areas that offer spectacular views of the far-reaching sea.
When entering the property, you will be greeted with a quaint and rustic living area. This room is fitted with a pair of sleek white sofas with a collection of royal blue cushions placed upon them. These sofas offer an attractive contrast against the exposed brick accent wall at the back of the room. The living room is also connected to the dining room, creating an open and airy atmosphere throughout the property. The dining area at Villa Garbi values the significance of communal dining, seen by the wooden table that sits in the centre of the room. The combined lounge/dining area leads out to a broad outdoor terrace that offers incredible views of the coves that sit close by. The kitchen within this property also adheres to a minimalist style. Using bright white cupboards and light-brown surfaces, this area offers everything you would need to create a collection of amazing meals.
Villa Garbi contains five bedrooms, making it the perfect property for up to ten guests. Four of the bedrooms make use of a spacious double bed, allowing each guest to have their own space and the chance to sleep peacefully during their stay. Each of these bedrooms gives access to magnificent views, making waking up each morning a dream come true. Two of these bedrooms include their own en-suite bathroom for that added sense of opulence and luxury. One of the bedrooms contains two single beds, which means that the room is perfect for children.

About the surrounding area of Villa GarbiVilla Garbi is just 3km away from the centre of Begur, allowing guests to explore the local tourist hotspots with ease. Begur is well known for its wine industry, offering tourists from around the world the chance to explore this delicate craft. Mas Oller can be found just 11-minutes away from the centre of Begur and is home to one of Costa Brava’s leading vineyards. This winery produces three red wines and two white wines, ensuring that the wine is made fresh and delicious. The staff uses a cold pre-fermentation period in order to keep their wines full of aroma and colour. Mas Oller provides a guided tour and wine tasting experience, giving guests to see this booming business up close. The tour lasts for around 45-minutes and tickets cost just €18 per person.
In addition, this villa is just 1.5km from the wonderful Sa Tuna beach. Renowned for its piercingly blue water, Sa Tuna beach is the perfect place to sit back and watch the world go by. Although the beach is only 80 meters long, it is still filled with a plethora of amenities to ensure that guests remain entertained and well during their stay. There is a selection of public toilets on-site and a car park close by. As such, guests can come and go as they please and do not have to worry about finding facilities. If you are looking to fuel an adrenaline rush, there are many watersport activities available at Sa Tuna beach. Thus, guests are free to explore the depths of the waters whilst sailing or scuba diving.
For fans of surrealist art, the outstanding Dali-Theatre Museum is less than an hour’s drive away. This eclectic landmark celebrates the life and works of Salvador Dali, one of the most prevalent artists of the 20th century. As this building was one a prestigious theatre, the museum is home to high and ornate ceilings and even has a stage in one of the main rooms. Underneath this stage lies the crypt where Dali himself is buried. Guests have the opportunity to enter the crypt and pay their respects if they wish. Filled with his famous portraits and jewellery, this is a must-see attraction for any art lover.

This villa contains its very own games room, filled with an assortment of activities. This room is fitted with two rattan sofas for children to sit back and relax in. Opposite these sofas is a large TV that can be used to watch cartoons or to play video games. The room is also teeming with board games, books, and toys, all of which can keep children occupied for hours. There is even access to table tennis to create a sense of healthy competition during your stay.
Begur also hosts a collection of fun activities for children. If you are looking to give your child a unique opportunity that they will never forget, Begur Dive is the ideal place to go. This acclaimed scuba diving centre is located on Aiguablava beach, just 11-minutes away from the town centre of Begur. Here, children will have the chance to explore the crystal clear waters and discover the fascinating workings of marine life. Begur Dive offers a wide range of courses suitable for both beginners and experts. The novice course is called Try Scuba Diving and lasts for 2 hours. During this time, guests will learn the basic practices of scuba diving, have the chance to learn more about the specialised equipment, and finally enter the water. The course is fully supervised by two instructors, ensuring that you and your family are kept safe during your dive. Although this is a very versatile and accessible course, the staff do not accept guests under the age of 10.
In addition, Begur is widely recognised for its engrossing history and its captivating landmarks. Less than a 15-minute walk away from the town centre is Begur Castle, a wondrous attraction that should not be missed. The castle resides at the top of a large hill, providing tourists with incredible panoramic views of the whole town. First built in the 11th century, this iconic building has stood pride of place for centuries. Although the castle is now left in ruins, children will love exploring the intricacies of the remains. Begur Castle is free to enter, and staff often provide guided tours on a regular basis.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Extra €250, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Stylish and well equipped villa
We have just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday in this very stylish and well equipped villa. It is fully modernised, yet with a nod to the lovely traditional architecture of the region and incredibly spacious. The layout lends itself to larger groups or two families holidaying together, supporting harmonious holidays by providing enough room to always find a little private space! The real star of this place though is the view- it is a simply stunning sea view. The location is very central, 20 min walk to Sa Tuna, 7 min drive to Begur and 20 mins to Llafranc and Tamariu, so great for exploring the area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including coffee machine and dishwasher - all immaculately clean. The pool and garden area were also beautifully maintained with both gas and charcoal BBQ’s and the pool has a non chlorinated cleaning system which meant no irritated red eyes!
We have stayed in many Villa’s in France/Italy and Spain, but usually have to compromise on either style or location- this place is unique as no compromise is required- you can have both! Just sorting dates for next year! -
