Situated in the Andalusian countryside, this wonderful rural property enjoys a completely secluded setting, offering the perfect place to spend a peaceful break with family and friends.
 
Set within 6 acres of private land, Villa Nueva de Rosario is a beautiful detached property surrounded by agricultural terrain of olive groves and wheat fields. A private driveway leads up to the main house, which is set within a lovely walled garden, with leafy trees and vibrant planting that surround the terrace and lawn. Typical of this Spanish region, the villa features a traditional whitewashed facade, with terracotta tiled roofs that extend out over the walls to create areas of shade on the patio below.  
 
Stepping inside, the villa is immediately inviting, with smart furnishings and characterful decor, whilst the terracotta floor offers a vibrant complement to the cool white walls. A charming living room features several arrangements of seating, offering a comfortable place to sit with a book, whilst the TV is perfect for watching a movie on cooler nights. A dining table sits to the side, whilst to the rear, the neat kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to prepare meals, as well as a separate pantry room where guests can find the washing machine and dishwasher. To the front of the room, a second dining area sits within a large conservatory, making the perfect spot for entertaining, and several glass doors open out onto the patio, allowing in a gentle breeze whilst framing views out to the garden.
 
There are four bedrooms in total, with a double or twin room found on the ground floor with its own shower room next door. Upstairs, the large master bedroom has a lovely en-suite and double doors that open onto a balcony where you can sit out and enjoy uninterrupted views. A smaller room leads off from the master suite, where a single bed is perfect for younger children or babies, whilst the fourth bedroom is also on this floor, with two twin beds and access to a shared bathroom.
 
Outside, the terrace wraps around the house, offering several different seating areas to enjoy throughout the day. Sit out with a coffee to enjoy the morning sun, or escape the midday heat and find a shaded spot to sit with a book or enjoy a siesta. A fantastic built-in barbecue area is great for al fresco dining, and you can make the most of the warm evenings and sit out over leisurely dinners beneath the stars. A large garden extends away from the villa with a well-maintained grass lawn surrounded by vibrant flowers and planting. To the far end, a curved swimming pool behind a fence is perfect for cooling off, and several sun loungers invite you to recline beneath the blue skies and soak up the peaceful setting.

Surrounded by the undulating Andalusian landscape and distant mountains, Villa Nueva de Rosario enjoys a wonderful setting where you can escape for a relaxing break and enjoy complete privacy whilst soaking up the peaceful surroundings. For local shops and amenities, there are several rural villages just a short drive away, and you can enjoy the slow pace of pueblo life and friendly atmosphere.
 
With two rivers running through its centre, Villanueva del Trabuco is a traditional agricultural settlement which can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car. Wander the streets of the older quarter to see the traditional whitewashed houses adorned with vibrant flowers and terracotta window boxes, or visit the Plaza de Prado for a more social atmosphere, where you will find the town hall and renowned 'Fuente de los tres Caños' (the fountain said to never dry up). There are several restaurants where you can enjoy freshly made dishes and sample home-cooked specialities such as ajoblanco (a wonderful gazpacho made with almonds and garlic). Nearby, the lovely Rosario is another charming spot, surrounded by wheat fields and olive groves. Sheltered in the foothills, the village is a popular starting point for hill walking or mountain bikers, and you can head up into the mountains before returning for a well-earned lunch or delicious piece of tortas de bizcocho, a sponge cake of almonds and olive oil.
 
For keen walkers, the surrounding area has plenty of trails to explore, and the beautiful Montes de Málaga natural park boasts a diverse landscape of rivers, rock formations, and a magnificent pine forest that plays host to a huge array of wildlife. You can also visit the nearby El Torcal park to see the usual limestone rock formations and interesting flora and fauna or take a challenging route up from the village of Concepcion to reach the highest viewing point at 1339m, where you will be rewarded with a spectacular vista across to the park and even as far as the North African coastline.
 
Whilst surrounded by countryside, the golden beaches of Malaga are just 45 minutes away, making it easy to spend the day beside the sea. Enjoy a relaxing day on the sand or head into the vibrant city to see its historic Alcazaba or wander along the lively streets lined with shops and restaurants. Marbella is also just over an hour's drive, whilst the main roads nearby offer good access to the cultural cities of Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla.

Away from the neighbours, kids can run around the wonderful garden and shout and play on the lawn, whilst the swimming pool invites hours of fun. The bedroom arrangements are perfect for younger children, whilst the charming interior and snug living room are great for cooler days, where you can spend a cosy evening playing a board game or watching a classic family movie.
 
The surrounding countryside is perfect for a family walk, and the nearby natural park has plenty of well-marked trails suitable for all ages. With Malaga just 45 minutes by car, it is easy to spend the day beside the sea. The famed Costa del Sol will not disappoint, and you will find long stretches of golden sand and gentle shorelines, perfect for young ones to paddle in the warm water. Malaga itself is buzzing with activity, with lively streets lined with shops and restaurants, as well as the historic Alcazaba. The Aquamijas Waterpark is a great place to spend the day, with fun slides and wave pools, as well as a zone for smaller kids, whilst the nearby Tivoli Amusement Park has something for everyone, with entertaining shows, tasty snacks and a number of themed rides.

Security deposit £250 charged to client's credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Minimum stay 7 nights during peak season and Easter. 4 nights during other periods.

I am a mum and carer to our son Jamie who is a young disabled teenager. My husband Mike and I have always wanted to purchase a property abroad and in 2018 we were in a position to do so. We love spending time at the property away from the stresses of normal life.
 
Why did you choose Villa Nueva de Rosario?
Peace and tranquillity, the beauty of the mountains and olive groves. Fabulous sunrise and sunset. Lots of outdoor space. Rural but with a 10 to 12 minute drive from town.
 
What makes this villa unique?
You have privacy and 6 acres all to yourself. There are lots of walking/cycling tracks right on your doorstep

    Fantastic villa in a very special setting. The rural road is a bit tricky at first, but well worth the effort. We used the villa as a home base for exploring Andalusia and were always excited to head back for evenings on the terrace.

    Just returned from a 10 day break with the family - set up in the hills the property benefits from a nice breeze to complement the heat; just what was needed after another poor English summer. The property very much matches the description and Nadine (owner) was always on hand when required. If you’re after a property which allows you to experience the real Spain and set in very peaceful surroundings, then this property is highly recommended. The surrounding towns offer many eating opportunities; a personal recommendation being RioFrio where you’ll find several including Restaurante Casa Raimundo which was voted as a favourite. Many thanks to Nadine.

    This home is flat- out amazing - a stunning location in Andalusia, very convenient to Cordoba, Grenada, Malaga, and Sevilla, huge, absolutely beautiful. We loved both the house and outdoor space and pool. Staying here was the highlight of our trip! Incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts - they have thought of everything and the house is very well equipped. We cannot imagine a better stay.

    This was our second stay at this property, as our first was excellent!

    The house is stunning, in a very rural setting a few miles from the nearest village. It is very well appointed and we found it in immaculate condition.

    All of the facilities are first rate and there is ample scope to relax and enjoy the tranquility of its setting.

    Its remoteness won't be for everyone, but we prefer the peace and quiet it provides. There are villages nearby though and Malaga is around 45 minutes away by car. It is also on the main roads to Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla, so it's actually well connected despite it rurality.

    We found the villa instructions detailed and easy to follow and the owner is very approachable and accommodating if you have any queries or requests.

    We highly recommend this property.

    We spent a wonderful 10 days at this beautiful villa, enjoying the amazing countryside setting and the comfort of the very well-equipped property. The furnishings are to a high standard, the beds are very comfortable and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The villa is very private and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere around the grounds and poolside. The location is a good base to visit both the coast and mountains of Andalucia and there is a good supermarket within about 15 minutes of the property. Communication with the owner, Nadine, is very efficient and we were given very clear directions and instructions regarding the property. We would recommend this villa for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday. Thank you Nadine!

    We had a lovely week at Easter. Fabulous, peaceful location with beautiful mountain views, yet very easy to get to V del Rosario where the little supermarket and grocers opposite had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful with our queries. The villa was clean, well equipped with lovely outdoor spaces, so we ended up seeing less of Andalucia than we intended due to having a couple of days just hanging around! Never had a pool with such a nice view. Would recommend Auto-Flores for car hire from Malaga airport. Thank you.
