Beautiful Villa Algarvia is a traditional Portuguese villa set on the outskirts of Quinta do Lago. Located on a gentle hillside, Villa Algarvia offers absolute luxury and relaxation for guests looking to escape to the Algarve.
When you arrive at the villa, you’ll notice the striking figure that it casts over neighbouring properties. A spacious courtyard to the front of the house provides safe and secure parking for guest vehicles.
Inside, Villa Algarvia has a spacious entrance that leads into the living room and communal areas of the villa. Your living room has lots of sitting space with comfortable chairs and sofas, and decor that blends traditional and contemporary design. The living room centres around a large flat-screen TV with international channels and a cosy fireplace. To the rear of the room, large windows and doors open up onto the garden terrace while providing natural sunlight to the room.
Adjacent to the living room, a charming dining room has space for up to eight people around the table and also has a separate patio door that leads into the garden. Your kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve delicious meals for your fellow guests.
A separate utility room contains laundry facilities, that you’re free to use should you need it, with a washing machine and clothes dryer.
For your sleeping arrangements, there are five bedrooms spread across the property’s three levels. On the ground floor, two bedrooms have twin beds that can be pushed together to form doubles and private en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs, two large double bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and access to their own terraces which overlook the surrounding landscape. The fifth bedroom is located on the lower level of the villa with twin beds and a private en-suite bathroom.
In the outdoor area, additional seating is provided for al fresco dining along with a barbecue which is yours to use whenever you like. Your private swimming pool is located in the garden, with a surrounding sun terrace and comfortable sun loungers for your comfort.
The garden is surrounded by mature plants and trees which provide shade and privacy to residents.

- The area around Villa Algarvia can be steep and hilly in places that may not be suitable for all guests
- The area around Villa Algarvia is relatively quiet with little to do besides the golf course, so may not be suitable for guests who like a lively holiday

About the surrounding area of Villa AlgarviaVilla Algarvia sits on the edge of Quinta do Lago, a quiet seaside destination popular amongst golfers as there are two spectacular golf courses just a short drive away from the property; Quinta do Lago and San Lorenzo.
Villa Algarvia benefits from being close enough to amenities and activities around the golf club to stay involved but far enough back to be quiet and relaxed. In the surrounding area you’ll easily find grocery stores, bars and restaurants, though we do recommend renting a car for your stay to make getting around as easy as possible.
Getting to Villa Algarvia to start your break is really easy as the area is well-connected to local and national roads. Villa Algarvia is a popular choice amongst families as the short 15-minute commute from Faro Airport is easy to visit with children.
Several beautiful gold-sand beaches are located just a short drive away with Praia da Quinta do Lago being the closest. If Praia da Quinta do Lago isn’t to your liking, there are several other beaches located along the miles-long stretch of sand.
If you want to explore the wider region during your stay, Faro city is just 15 minutes away with lots of interesting historic sites to visit as well as excellent shopping and dining opportunities. To the east of the villa, the resort town of Quarteira is also just 15 minutes away by car.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Algarvia is a popular choice amongst family groups as the villa provides lots of space for kids to play and have fun during their stay.
During your stay at Villa Algarvia, kids enjoy the freedom of having a holiday home to themselves and their family as it helps them to somewhat maintain their routines and gives them plenty of space. If you’re travelling with more than one child, they particularly enjoy staying in the lower bedroom of the house as the adjacent TV nook lets kids feel like they have their own apartment within the villa.
High-speed internet is available throughout the villa which kids can use to keep connected with friends back home as well as stream their favourite media and games. In the garden, kids have ample space for ball and lawn games or they can play in the villa’s private swimming pool.
Beaches are in abundance nearby, promising days filled with family fun on the Algarve’s golden sands. At the beach, kids love being able to build sculptures in the sand and swim in the sea. In your area, the coast is relatively calm with gentle waves that are perfect for kids to practice surfing on.
If you’re a golfing family, kids can join parents on the golf course with Quinta do Lago’s golf academy, where trained instructors will coach kids and teach them how to play.
For day trips and excursions, there’s lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Particularly popular with kids of all ages are the boat trips which depart daily to explore the Algarve’s coastal caves and grottos as well as trips to see dolphins swimming at sea.
If you prefer to stay somewhat on land, Parque Aventura is just 30 minutes away from Villa Algarvia and a great choice for more adventurous kids. At Parque Aventura, kids can take to the treetops for a high rope adventure or they can get pulses racing with a lively game of paintball.
