An outstanding and luxurious villa located in Carvoeiro, Villa Saracoga is a fantastic property for families looking to truly relax and unwind. The exterior of this property is nothing short of perfection, sporting a tremendous lawn area that spans across the grounds. As such, the whole family can come together and play a selection of games on the expertly manicured emerald-green grass. In addition, this villa is also home to a considerable swimming pool. This is an ideal place for guests to ease tired muscles after a long day of sightseeing. Guests can also enjoy a number of outdoor terraces, each of which is fitted with a luxurious outdoor seating or dining area. In turn, guests can indulge in a refreshing glass of wine as they take in the remarkable sights that surround them.
Inside, this property continues to delight and inspire by using an array of impeccable interior design choices. The living room pulls upon a range of monochrome features, such as the striking white walls that are contrasted by a very large black sofa. Therefore, guests can kick back and revel in the amazing outdoor views as they relax in this deeply attractive space. The dining area adheres to a much more minimalist theme, making use of a broad glass-topped table and an accompanying set of white high-backed chairs. The kitchen within this property is extremely sleek and modern, showcasing a range of bright white walls and a collection of dark granite countertops. The ground floor is also home to the first two bedrooms, both are a beautiful space that contains a very spacious double bed.
Travelling upstairs, this is where you’ll uncover the remaining three bedrooms. The third bedroom also contains a double bed and also provides access to an opulent en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom is a lot larger, presenting a king-sized bed that has been decorated with ample bed linens. Finally, the fifth bedroom hosts a pair of single beds. Therefore, this space is perfect for two small children or a couple who prefers to sleep separately.

One of the region’s most iconic landmarks is Alfanzia Lighthouse, a monument that has been standing since 1920. This lighthouse contains a vibrant flashing light that is used to guide fishermen toward a large number of fish, such as squid. Guests are encouraged to take a short walk toward the peak of the lighthouse and bask in the panoramic views of the cliffs that surround them. Every Wednesday from 2 pm to 5 pm, the lighthouse allows guests to explore the interior, allowing them to observe a range of well-preserved artefacts. Alfanzia Lighthouse can be found just over 10-minutes away from the centre of the region.
If you are looking to explore this location from an entirely different perspective, a unique scooter tour is an ideal way to do so. There are a variety of establishments that offer this service, and guests can even choose between a half-day or a full-day tour. THE REGION
Carvoeiro has always been known for its beautiful coastline, adorned with cliffs, coves and incredible sandy beaches stretching all the way along to Albufeira. These days, however, there is a lot more going on in this charming town than just waves hitting the sand (although that’s certainly still a highlight).
In the past few years Carvoeiro has developed to accommodate for the growing number of tourists who are curious to see what the fuzz is all about, and the town continues to get livelier and livelier each summer. While it has kept its character and remains exquisitely peaceful, there are also plenty of modern amenities and loads of exciting activities in the area. The only thing Carvoeiro won’t provide is a good party, but there are other parts of the Algarve which are perfect for that.

Slide and Splash Waterpark is one of the region’s most popular attractions and is situated around 10-minutes away. Children are free to explore this park and their own pace and to their heart’s content. With 17 different slides to discover, this is a park that the whole family can enjoy. There is even a nuanced fish spa located on-site where guests can allow tiny fish to exfoliate their feet. In addition, guests can also enjoy a beautiful bird enclosure that hosts a wide collection of birds of paradise.
For another fantastic day out, a trip to Zoo-Marine and Amusement Park is a real treat and is situated just under half an hour away. This enticing attraction blends a variety of marine mammals and birds with an abundance of water rides. Guests can start their day by embarking on a series of wave pools, slides, and playgrounds. Once you have done all that, you have the opportunity to bask in 20 different ecosystems, giving you an in-depth view of a selection of majestic creatures. Zoo-Marine and Amusement Park also host a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, and photo booths, meaning that guests can pick up a few quirky items that remind them of their amazing trip to Carvoeiro.

We had a great stay at Villa Saragota! The swimming pool is fantastic during the hot days. Furthermore the rooms where clean and looked very nice (some) with seaside view! Recommend it to groups/families of 8-10 persons.
