Escape to the Algarve with a stay at the traditional four-bed Alporchinhos Rosa. Nestled on the outskirts of Porches, this sleepy villa promises heaps of rest and relaxation in the sun with your family and friends. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel safe with entry via a security gate and a large private driveway to park your cars.
Inside the villa, rustic Portuguese decor greets you, truly making you feel like you’re in a home rather than a hotel. Your living room has lots of seating space with a mix of sofas and armchairs and has a Tv which you can all use to watch your favourite shows and movies via the DVD player.
You have a fully-equipped kitchen indoors and a barbecue area outside, which are yours to use whenever you like throughout your stay. Similarly, Alporchinhos Rosa has both indoor and outdoor dining spaces with a large indoor dining area and a cost outdoor dining space beside the barbecue.
Alporchinhos Rosa has four bedrooms spread across two floors with two bedrooms on each floor. On the ground floor, you’ll find two twin bedrooms, one of which has its own private en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and another twin bedroom, both having private en-suite bathrooms.
On the upper level, you can access a lovely terrace that offers beautiful views over the surrounding area and the ocean beyond. When the sun’s out, the upper terrace is also an ideal sun terrace for those who love to catch the rays.
Outside you’ll find the highlight of the villa; your very own private swimming pool. Large enough to accommodate a full house, the private swimming pool is perfect for relaxing and cooling off from the Mediterranean sun. Surrounding the swimming pool are comfortable sun loungers and parasols for shade.
In the garden, you’ll also find a full-sized ping pong table and a small putting green which you can use whenever you want.
What you should know…
- The area around the villa can be steep in places so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues
- As the area is quite hilly and is set away from major tourist areas, we recommend renting a car during your stay if you wish to get out and about regularly
- Alporchinhos Rosa is located in a quiet residential area, so if you like to be in the centre of the action and have a lively holiday this may not be for you

The Villa
The villa is having a very nice, kidney-shaped pool and a large lawned garden with sun loungers. There is a covered terrace with outside furniture and a stone barbecue to enjoy good Portuguese meals. The location is really perfect. Alporchinhos is a small village with a few of the most beautiful beaches in the whole Algarve. Just walking distance to several beautiful beaches and also some restaurants and a good supermarket.

About the surrounding area of Alporchinhos RosaAlporchinhos Rosa has an ideal location, set back from the heart of town on a quiet residential street. Upon arrival, it’s easy to find your way to Alporchinhos Rosa, whether you’re spending your whole trip here or visiting as part of a wider itinerary. The villa can be easily accessed by road, no matter where you’re coming from. If you’re driving straight to the villa from Faro Airport, the journey will take around 40 minutes.
Located in Porches, Alporchinhos Rosa is the perfect place for families and groups of friends to spend a well-earned break in the sun. Although you benefit from being set back from the town centre, getting in and around is really easy with Armação de Pêra, just five minutes away by car. Here you’ll be able to find most of your services and amenities like pharmacies, grocery stores, shops, bars and restaurants.
There are several beaches in the area, but the most popular two are Praia de Nossa Senhora da Rocha and Praia de Armação de Pêra, both of which have been granted the coveted Blue Flag status, marking them as clean and safe beaches. Popular with families and visitors from all walks of life, these beautiful sandy beaches are both around a five-minute drive away.
While Armação de Pêra town and the nearby beaches are all within walking distance of Alporchinhos Rosa, we recommend travelling by car as the return journey can be rather steep in places and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

THE REGION
Carvoeiro has always been known for its beautiful coastline, adorned with cliffs, coves and incredible sandy beaches stretching all the way along to Albufeira. These days, however, there is a lot more going on in this charming town than just waves hitting the sand (although that’s certainly still a highlight).
In the past few years Carvoeiro has developed to accommodate for the growing number of tourists who are curious to see what the fuzz is all about, and the town continues to get livelier and livelier each summer. While it has kept its character and remains exquisitely peaceful, there are also plenty of modern amenities and loads of exciting activities in the area. The only thing Carvoeiro won’t provide is a good party, but there are other parts of the Algarve which are perfect for that.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesKids are well-catered for at Alporchinhos Rosa, with plenty of amenities around the villa for them to enjoy. Most of all, our younger guests love having their own private swimming pool. With the pool right in their garden, kids love having the freedom to splash and play in the water whenever they want.
In the garden, small putting green is located beside the swimming pool, as is a full-sized ping pong table, letting kids bring out their competitive side. The gardens are relatively big and fully covered in grass, so kids can run around and play with ease.
The villa also has high-speed internet, which kids can connect to and use to stream their favourite media and play games with their friends back home.
Outside of the villa, there are lots to see and do with Albufeira just a short drive away, promising lots of history and adventure. In Albufeira, kids can hit the high seas on a boat trip from the marina where they can explore the cliffs and caves that make up the Algarve’s coastline, or they can take it easy and watch the fish swim by from a glass-bottom boat.
Back on land, popular attractions include exploring the old town and visiting the ever-popular Zoomarine - a family-friendly attraction which is half zoo and half water park. Kids can splash around and zip down huge water slides, then visit the zoo to learn all about their animals.
Closer to home, the beaches nearby are excellent for families, especially those marked as Blue Flag beaches. These beaches have gorgeous golden sands, and the waters are calm enough for kids of all ages to paddle and swim in with little difficulty.
