Located in Portugal’s ever-popular Algarve, Villa Sun Gale offers guests a spacious hideaway in the sun. This stunning five-bed villa infuses traditional Portugese architecture with Moroccan décor and has everything you need to enjoy a well-earned break in Albufeira.
Form the moment you arrive, you’ll be able to bask the quiet contentment that only comes from having nothing but your own space to enjoy during your stay. Spread across two levels, you have five bedrooms to choose from which can comfortably sleep up to a total of ten people. With plenty of space to kick back and relax, this home away from home offers everything you need to make the most of your stay in Albufeira.
When it comes to living space, Villa Gale Sun is top-notch. You can sit back and relax in a comfortable living room and dining space for light bites, with two sofas and ample additional seating. Entertainment can be yours through the satellite TV with DVD player, letting you enjoy your favourite TV and movies during your stay. If you visit during the cooler months and feel a slight chill, there’s no need to worry, a fully functioning fireplace finishes the room for your benefit.
At the heart of any home is the kitchen, and Villa Gale Sun is no different. Adding to that authentic homely feel, the fully-equipped kitchen provides all the essentials you need to feed your family and friends. For meals, you can choose from two dining spaces – either dine just off from the living room or in a separate dining room which transports guests across the sea into neighbouring Morocco. Delightful Moroccan lounge décor makes this space perfect for sharing a meal and unwinding in good company.
Guests can take their pick from three rooms with twin beds or two with king-size beds. Once again blending traditional Mediterranean décor with Moroccan, each room is delightfully decorated. While one of the twin rooms benefits from its own en-suite shower room, there are two additional bathrooms on the upper floor.
Outside, your own private pool and lounging area is yours to enjoy. There’s also a small outdoor dining and food preparation area with a brick pizza oven, perfect for lunch by the pool. The swimming pool is a single depth pool with no access ladders for entry and exit, so we recommend not letting children play near the pool unattended. On the patio, there’s a small children’s play area with a see-saw to play on during their stay.

About the surrounding area of Villa Sun GaleVilla Sun Gale is perfectly located in a quiet residential area of sleepy Gale, located on the West of Albufeira. Your nearest airport is Faro, which is around 35 minutes away by car. If you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, expect to pay around 35€ each way for a small vehicle or more if you need a larger one.
Whether you prefer to cook at home or dine out during your stay, Villa Sun Gale offers the best of both worlds. The local supermarket is only a five-minute walk away, letting you cook delicious homemade meals in the comfort of your own villa. Or, the beach and a number of cafes and diners are around 25 minutes away by foot. If you’ve rented a car, travel between Gale centre and the villa couldn’t be easier.
Your villa is located near the tip-top of Praia da Gale, a picture-perfect Portuguese beach that stretches on as far as the eye can see. Its golden sands and blue waters are the perfect place to catch the sun and make memories.
There’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area – local markets and places of interest are never far away in Albufeira. The cliffs surrounding the area are ideal for holidaymakers who enjoy hiking, letting you enjoy the area’s views from high above.
Outside of Gale, you can easily visit other towns in and around Albufeira with your own car and using public transport. Albufeira central, with its historic Old Town and sightseeing opportunities, is less than 20 minutes away by car.
If you’re amongst golf lovers, Portugal is well known for its spectacular golf courses, with plenty to be found near your villa. The nearest golf course, Salgados, is just five minutes away by car.

THE REGION
Albufeira is one of the Algarve's top hotspots. It's a charismatic beach town with an energetic and busy vibe where every type of holidaymaker can find something to enjoy. Not only is it family friendly and bursting with great activities for kids and teens, there is also a buzzing nightlife scene on the downtown strip for adults travelling on their own.
If you’re after something a bit more cultural, there is also a beautiful Old Town where all the best restaurants and historical sites can be found. For those looking to get a little bit extra out of their Albufeira stay, Vidamar Resort in the Salgados area offers all the perks of staying in a self-catered villa plus the amenities of a luxury resort.
Not far from there you’ll also come across the beachy Sao Rafael as well as Galé where the sandy stretches and deep blue waves will have you thinking you’re on the set of a photoshoot. The beach
For many of us, it’s not a holiday without the beach. Lucky for you, you’ll be spoiled for choice while staying at the Villa Gale Sun. Your nearest beach is the gorgeous Blue Flag beach Praia da Gale which is just the start of a miles-long stretch of stunning Portuguese sandscapes. Whether you have little kids who are content to spend their hours in the sun building sandcastles, or older kids who want to try something a bit more on the adventurous side like waterspouts, you’ll find it on Praia da Gale.
The culture
From Gale, there’s lots to see and do in the surrounding area. You’re just a short drive away historic sites like Cerro da Vila, the ancient ruins of a Roman villa where you can see intact intricate mosaics from thousands of years ago, or busy Albufeira, where you can take in the history of the Old Town and surroundings.
The activities
If it’s adventure you’re looking for, don’t worry. You can easily fill your days with activities your little ones won’t be in a hurry to forget – the biggest thing to worry about is that they’ll be asking to do them again and again. You can take a glass-bottom boat tour, discover the natural world around you on a jeep safari or even take a boat out to swim in ancient caves and spot dolphins playing in the water.

Really enjoyed this villa!
We really enjoyed staying at the vila. The house was super clean, the rooms spacious and the pool very nice. The family were super hosts making us feel very welcome - including good local recommadations and flexibility.
The vila is located in a quiet residential area, so you do not get a town-vibe, but it is within walking distance from nice beaches and a really nice super market. -
Amazing level of organization and attention!!
We were greeted beforehand by Tila's son Tiogo, and later by Tila and her husband. They were incredibly friendly and supportive, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find welcome drinks waiting for us. We received all information and recommendations in advance, including additional services such as a personal chef, yoga and photo sessions. This level of organization and attention to detail provided us with everything we needed for an unforgettable holiday. A clean house and a swimming pool pleased, and stable and fast Wi-Fi worked even at the patio. The air-conditioned bedrooms provide a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes walk from the beach, next to a great supermarket and close to restaurants, 10 minutes from Albufeira by car or taxi. The combination of friendly support, advance information, and a range of amenities made it a truly enjoyable and hassle-free vacation.

Above and Beyond: Unforgettable Villa
This is by far the best villa experience I have ever had in my life! It is obvious that Tila and her family are professional hosts. They take great pride in providing a beautiful, unique, and welcoming stay for their guests! From weeks before our stay, they reached out to provide an electronic guidebook and to make sure we had personalized items that we needed such as a baby crib and a high chair. They personally greeted us at their home and showed us around the house and the town providing local recommendations for everything! Upon arriving we let them know that we intended to have our wedding on the beach during our stay. They offered to help in anyway they could, and even helped us find a photographer! I really can’t speak highly enough about this family as outstanding hosts, as well as kind people. I hope to return and stay in one of their beautiful homes again!

Exceeding Expectations
A group of 9 of us stayed in Tila's villa this past week and wow, what can I say! The villa is beautiful and exactly as described. It was perfect for our group with plenty of room for all. Tila and her family went above and beyond to help with everything from Airport transports, early/late check-ins and local recommendations. We had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend!

A Birthday to Remember!!
Tila and her family made this one of my most memorable birthdays! Both Tila and her son Diogo were welcoming and responsive weeks before my friends and I arrived in Albufeira. Diogo was also kind enough to get me a cake and some wine to celebrate my big day. He was quick to answer every question I had before the stay and equally as responsive during the stay. I didn't meet him in person, but I briefly met Tila when she stopped by to fix an issue one of my friends had in their room, and she was quite pleasant.
The house was perfect. All the rooms were exactly as pictured--beautifully designed, spotless, and they had everything we needed to be comfortable. The outdoor dining area was the perfect place to gather after a swim and to have dinner as a group. We also loved how close the house was to the beach, the supermarket, and all the places we wanted to visit. 10/10 would recommend, and I can't wait to visit again!

A wonderful house
This is a wonderful house with exceptional décor. Support before, during and after your stay is very good. Shopping in Gale is limited, but this house is just a five minute walk from the well stocked supermarket.

The house was perfect
The house was perfect: clean, large, with 2 fridges and beautiful bedrooms. The pool was awesome, and the oriental room outdoors was a highlight. Definitely would recommend !!

I highly recommend
We honestly had such an amazing holiday here at Villa Sun Gake. Tila and Fernando were incredibly friendly, informative and helpful letting us know the best restaurants in the area as well as the best parts of Albufeira to visit during our stay.
On the day we arrived our flight was early but Tila and Fernando were very accomodating letting us keep our suitcases in a secure location in the house while it was being cleaned, allowing us go for an explore to the local supermarket without worrying about our bags.
On our departure day we checked out in the morning but our flight was that evening, Tila and Fernando let us keep our suitcases in the house while it was being cleaned and even looked after them afterwards while we went into town for the last day, also arranging the airport transfer with a trusted company as late as possible allowing us to maximise the day.
I highly recommend any of the OT's hosted by Tila and Fernando (including this one which we loved, very homely and interesting decor) they are excellent hosts and I would definitely revisit Gale which is a beautiful area for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday and be sure to stay with them for the stress free and extra-mile experience!

A lovely villa
A lovely villa, with very kind and thoughtful owners, who were very helpful and welcoming. Gale is a lovely town with wonderful beaches - great for families. The villa is very nicely decorating, with a great pool and bbq area.

Spacious home
We all had such a great time in this spacious home, the place was also clean and had the appropriate amenities. Conveniently situated - close to beaches and supermarkets/restaurants. The hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly when required. Thank you for a great stay and all the sweet oranges!

Lovely Villa
Tila and Fernando were very welcoming and understanding when we (9 adults) arrived early and went out of their way to show us around Galé and Albufueria and made some good recommendations. The villa is lovely and kept very clean and is only a few minutes walk from the beach and supermarket, we would definitely recommend both the villa and Tila and Fernando as hosts.
