An excellent combination of sandy beach, ancient history and exciting entertainments, Alcudia is a true holiday favourite and dream venue for beach worshippers, however it’s also packed with culture.
Located around a magnificent bay on Majorca’s north-eastern coast, the resort has a delightful old walled town housing a labyrinth of cafes, bars and shop-filled streets.
Villa Sea & Sand is placed in one of the greatest vantage points, with a selection of places to explore and things to do in proximity. With the villa set overlooking Mal Pas Beach, you have the sand and sea as your backyard. This shoreline swathed in fine white sand lapped by the waters of the sea is made for lazy days relaxing. All you need to do is lay your beach towel down or sprawl out on the softness of the soft warm sands surface.
The longest beach amongst Spain's Balearic's islands, 7 kilometres of coastal lines is begging to be explored, with more built-up spots offering all the amenities and facilities you need to spend a whole day or quieter spots for blissful isolation with the waves.
There’s also an alluring range of restaurants around the harbourside, and behind the waterfront, a great selection of shops, bars and eateries. By night, the tempo in Alcudia quickens somewhat, with countless music bars, discos and clubs providing a good choice of entertainment staying open till late.
There’s some excellent sightseeing too. Make sure you visit atmospheric old Alcudia nearby. And, while you’re here, be sure to visit Alcudia’s haunting Roman ruins outside of town or take one of the many enjoyable boat trips from the harbour.
Alternatively, explore Majorca’s beautiful interior by car or on foot, visiting enchanting villages like Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa, Valldemosa, and the vistas of the Sierra Tramuntana Mountains.
You’ll be spoilt for choice food wise. Restaurants offer all types of cuisine for you to feast on, from tapas and paella to pizza, burgers and the region's speciality, seafood. Spain is known for its vino too, so wash it all down with a glass of the finest traditional wines.

The Region
The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.
