Tucked in the foothills of the majestic Atlas Mountains, Villa Ayat is the perfect home for those seeking a little relaxation and fun in the sun, with plenty of entertainment on site and nearby, for up to 10 lucky guests!
The villa is in a traditional Riad style, with ornate décor and designs centred around a dazzling courtyard of activity, with an elegant flower-bed, a row of bikes for your enjoyment and fragrant trees which offer some shade in the heat of the day.
Around the endless balconies are beautiful flowers which complement the fabulous cinnamon colouring of the walls. The steam room offers the perfect place for a little relaxation, allowing the heat to cleanse your skin and revitalise you ready for another memorable day in Morocco!
There’s a huge kitchen with tons of space and all the latest mod-cons so you can prepare meals, snacks and feasts at your will, and tucked just inside is a large dining area where you can gather the group for formal meal times. For more casual quality time together, there’s a traditional lounge space with comfy cushions beside the fireplace.
There’s a satellite TV with a DVD player as well as a games room with table football, an Xbox 360' and a PS3, as well as a selection of toys for the youngsters, so everyone will be content and entertained!
There are five bedrooms in total, one on the ground floor and the other four on the upper level, with three doubles and two twin rooms catering for a variety of groups. Each is uniquely coloured, with each colour suite enjoying a little different décor but the same high-quality facilities.
All rooms on the upper floor are complete with an ensuite bathroom in a traditional style, with a beautiful walk-in shower, while there is a family bathroom on the ground floor for the fifth room.
The fabulous swimming pool sits to one side of the courtyard, with several bedrooms overlooking it, putting it right at the centre of the action and making it a beautifully sociable spot!
Alongside the pool are several trees and fragrant flowers, and beside this is the hot tub where you can gather for a little fun or relaxation! For the kids, you’ll also find a trampoline and slide for burning off low energy and a hammock for recuperating.
What was once a stop-off for hippies and hedonists has emerged through centuries of visitors from across the world to become an unmissable capital of African tourism, with an alluring mix of North African culture and modern delights.
Get lost in the maze-like Medina, splash-out in the souks, indulge in the extraordinary cuisine in any of the hundreds of food stalls and be sure to chat with the friendly locals! Speak with your tour guide to arrange a trip or two!

About the surrounding area of Villa AyatVilla Ayat is 22 km from the fascinating, sensory-overloading city of Marrakesh, otherwise known as the ‘Red City’, abound with mosques, palaces and gardens and each as magnificent as the last!
In 1985, Marrakesh’s medina, the densely packed, walled medieval city at the heart of the modern city, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Indeed, the saying goes that, back in the 1930s, Winston Churchill described Marrakesh as ‘the last paradise on Earth’! And we can see why!
Lose yourself in the maze of vendors, food stalls and entertainers – with snake charmers, acrobats and fortune-tellers all showing off their talents and charms!
And for the tamer holiday-maker, worry not – the chaos is interspersed with luxury spas, coffee shops, and high-end restaurants if you want a moment of calm in this crazy city! Do as the locals do and unwind at a hammam – it’s how they’ve coped for hundreds of years.
And if ever you decide it’s a little too hot in the city, you need only venture a few miles out to the colder heights of the mountains! Northern Africa’s highest peak, Mount Toubkal, is just a short distance away, enveloped in miles and miles of stunning peaks.

Villa Ayat
Villa manager Aimad and driver were waiting at Marrakech, even though we were two hours late - plane had a flat tyre at Gatwick. He then stopped off at a supermarket on the way to the villa, even though I think he might have been in a rush to be somewhere else. Villa Ayat was tidy and clean and is an amazing place to stay for a holiday. The pool is huge and doesn’t feel crowded even when all six of us are splashing around. Aimad has also helped us to arrange various trips out to Marrakech, Ourika, Ben Ait Haddou etc.

The best time
We had the best time we are already looking to return. The food provided was amazing and abdel ali couldn’t have done more for us. We were so impressed with the service and loved Marrakesh.

A beautiful home from home
My friends and I loved our stay at the villa. We all spent a marvellous time relaxing in the olive grove, swimming in the pool, sunbathing in the secluded courtyard and stargazing from the roof terrace. We were greeted so warmly when we arrived and looked after very well while we were there by Abdelali and the gardener, who brought us fresh herbs from the garden to cook with, and honey and olive oil and pots of tea made with fresh mint. We also loved to see the baby goats in the garden. We were all planning our return visit before we had even left! And hopefully for longer next time. Thank you all for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful house.

Chance to live like kings
What can be said that hasnt already. Wow, talk about living like kings. This place is huge. Wendy and I went without expecting to be stunned as much as we were. Our jaws hit the floor and stayed there till we left 10 days later. Ali and co made sure we wanted for nothing, bending over backwards for the whole stay. I could go on and on about how amazing this holiday has been, even the weather which wasnt great, didnt spoil the adventure. Got to say though, marrakesh market is huge, we did get lost in there, seriously lost. But that just added to the thrill, and you must get the bus. So easy to get to the super market. Wendy cooked all our meals and there was ample utensils to see to any meal, even a barbecue outside, which we never got to use. Garden was fantastic. This will surely go down as the best holiday ive ever had. Many thanks to Ali and gang, and his mum and dad for making our stay so amazing
