Best Suited For: All AgesLake Trasimeno is a great place to take the kids and the perfect place to cool down. There are a litany of beaches on its edges, and the towns of Castiglione del Lago, Passignano, Panicale and San Feliciano are all family friendly spots. There is also a fantastic cycle track that circumnavigates the lake if you’re up for a family activity.
The centre of Perugia is largely traffic free, making it the perfect place to explore with young kids. The Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria is a great educational experience thanks to its range of Italian art, including works by Piero della Francesca. And you certainly can’t visit Perugia with kids without taking a tour of the chocolate factory! Home to Baci chocolates, they offer tours in English and there’s no shortage of tasty goodies.
On the outskirst of Perguia you can also find Citta` della Domenica, part theme park, part zoo, this is one of the best family adventures in Umbria and offers everything from bird shows, rides, adventure games, historical recreations and other immersive activities. Indeed the park includes a village of Pinocchio and the castle of Sleeping Beauty!

One of the best estates we’ve been to!
The pictures do not do its justice as it’s simply difficult to show the 360 beauty in one shot. The views are breathtaking, the hosts looked after every detail. Highly recommended place and we hope to be back one day!

Wonderful property
Wonderful property tucked up on the hills around Marsciano (PG). The grounds are well maintained, the infinity pool is spacious and provides a stunning view on the vineyards. The property is elegantly simple, but comfortable. The wine produced at the Villa is tasty and worthy of a medal (especially the Auro).
