The main villa and its annexe, fully renovated in 2021, boast a homely ambience that seamlessly marries traditional Tuscan design with modern comforts. From the moment you enter, it is evident that every detail has been thoughtfully considered, reflecting the heartfelt dedication of the family who calls this place home.
The heart of the villa is undoubtedly its fully serviced kitchen, a bustling hub where culinary delights are prepared with love and shared among family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including a spacious dining area and cosy seating nooks.
Each of the six double bedrooms is a sanctuary in its own right, offering a tranquil retreat after a day of exploration. With ensuite bathrooms and plush furnishings, they invite guests to unwind and recharge.
But it is outside where Villa Buggia truly comes alive. The sprawling garden, dotted with ancient olive trees and a thriving vineyard, beckons guests to embrace the slower pace of life and reconnect with nature. Children play freely amidst the verdant landscape while adults gather for leisurely meals under the shade of the pergola. The swimming pool is a shimmering oasis of cool water. What you should know…
- Whilst the nearest restaurant is within walking distance, please note that the path is a country road and a car is highly recommended to explore the local area.
- The villa can accommodate up to 12 people plus an additional 4 children on the sofa beds found in the double bedrooms on the first floor. It also has an additional quarter for staff (including a place to sleep for any needed in-house staff).

● When did you become the owner?
As a family we have decided to start something of our own, and we meant to start it right here, within the hills we have been living among forever: Villa Buggia is a shared project for us, but moreover is the result of our passion, work and shared love. We are not just making a business out of it: we are building memories to share with our beloved guests from all over the world. Villa Buggia was fully renovated in 2021, and only opened to public in July 2021, after a 1 year renovation period, with completely new furnitures, interior and exterior design. Villa Buggia is a life project for our family, and it includes olive trees and a vineyard within the property, since we are developing farming and producing activities, together with hospitality.
● What was it about the property that you first fell in love with?
The first thing that fell in love with the Villa is our swimming pool and our garden (olive’s trees, the vineyard) but also our jacuzzi. In the internal part the furniture and finishing.

- Must do?
Relax in our swimming pool in the peace of the hills, to trekking around the gorgeous village around the Villa
- Must eat?
All kind of pasta, the Tuscany bruschetta with our Olive Oil, the Fiorentina steak.
- Must see?
You MUST see Florence, Lucca but also the very nice village on the top of Montecatini Terme that is Montecatini Alto.
