The living quarters are quite magnificent, scattered across the ground floor of three wings. They include a beautiful bright living room with Satellite TV, a grand dining room for feasts under the chandeliers, a pretty music room as well as a relaxing games room with doors leading out to the al-fresco courtyard, a perfect spot for breakfast which can be prepared for you by the villa’s chef in the traditional Tuscan kitchen.
Experience the Italian charm across twelve air-conditioned bedrooms, each with their own characterful features as well as lovely en suite bathrooms and courtyard, fountain or garden views.
Wander outside and admire the ornate gardens with the aromas of lemon trees and jasmine, enjoy a quiet coffee in the shade of the gazebo or spend time lazing by the inviting swimming pool. In the evening, gather together for al-fresco meals by the sound of the impressive fountain.
The services here are second to none – not just the chef who is available to prepare lunch or an evening meal if you wish, but also maid service most days and the option to arrange all sorts of extras such as cooking classes, private tours, personalised excursions and wine-tasting in your villa, selecting Tuscan reds or whites from the wine room’s library.
You’ll also want to find some time to explore this captivating region, after all Lucca is just a few minutes away, an exquisite town filled with some of the finest examples of Renaissance and medieval architecture. Pisa and Florence can also be visited for wonderful days out, or drive to some of the idyllic Tuscan villages and towns close by such as Collodi, Montecatini Terme and San Miniato.
Hike through the landscapes of Monte Pisano and beyond, hire kayaks near the incredible scenery of Garfagnana or spend the day at the beach in Viareggio. You can even follow the coast as far north as Liguria’s spectacular Cinque Terre National Park, stopping off at some of the romantic seaside villages of the Golfo dei Poeti.
Whether exploring northern Tuscany or beyond, there is so much to discover in this alluring part of central Italy.

The splendid Villa Le Fontane offers Italian charm and sophistication for your dream-like Tuscan wedding, not just the welcoming interiors but also the glorious grounds with ornate gardens, towering trees and aromas of lemons and summer jasmine. All of this with glimpses of the incredible surroundings in the foothills of Monte Pisano, just a short drive from the exquisite town of Lucca.

Wedding Reception
Inside the beautiful villa there is space for up to 26 people for a reception whilst outside up to 80-90 guests can be hosted across the grounds.
A marquee can also be hired on request if desired.
Wedding Ceremony
There is a small chapel in the estate at the gates of one of the other estate's villas, Villa Monte Pisano (a 5-minute drive away) which has room for up to 30-40 guests. Alternatively, a small ceremony can be hosted inside the villa or for a larger event a service can be set up in a number of spots across the glorious gardens.
An English-speaking celebrant can be arranged.

Venue Accessibility
There is limited accessibility by public transport, guests may need rideshare or taxis. There is also limited parking on site. There is limited wheelchair access – please enquire for more details.
Where to Stay
24-26 people can stay at Villa Le Fontane whilst 14 guests can stay at Villa Maestosa in the same estate, subject to availability and minimum stay restrictions.
The owner’s second estate, around 2.5km away, features San Colombano (12 guests), Villa Flavus (15-19 guests) and Villa Monte Pisano (22-26 guests).
Alternatively, there are many hotels and villas in and around Lucca (within a 5-10 minute drive away). The owner has their own transportation company that can be used to drive guests to and from the venue.
Wedding Planning
The owners prefer to use their own wedding planners for the event.
If you wish to use your own then you must request this in advance and permission may be given in some circumstances.
Wedding Suppliers
Services that can be arranged on request include hair-dressing, make-up artists, photographers and film-makers, wedding cakes, flowers, table décor, musicians (harpists, live jazz etc), DJs and children entertainers/nannies.
Any other external suppliers can only be used with permission.
Catering
The owners prefer for clients to use their own experienced caterers (in-house and external suppliers). A number of options are available such as aperitivi, formal sit-down meals, dessert buffets, after dinner fruit tables and more.
If you would like to use your own caterers then this must be requested in advance for approval. There is no corkage fee if you wish to provide your own wine but again, this is on request only.
Flexibility on Duration
Minimum stay of 7 nights (high season) or 3 nights (low and mid season).
Children
Children are welcome and supervised childcare can be arranged.
Noise Restrictions
Music should be turned off by midnight.
Other Information
The venue has on-site security personnel throughout the wedding.
There are no restrictions on decoration and themes - bring your creative ideas!
