Part of a beautiful country resort close to the iconic ‘white’ city of Ostuni is Villa Anfora, a spacious and family-friendly holiday home. Surrounded by olive trees and lush countryside, this villa offers idyllic views within a relaxed and tranquil setting. The interior features traditional flooring and vaulted stone ceilings for a charming, authentic feel throughout.
There’s a private garden to soak up the peaceful atmosphere as you lie back on a pool-side lounger and listen to the sounds of nature. Also enjoy long walks within the grounds to discover the area’s natural beauty. There’s even the chance to meet the resident donkey and horse!
The main living area is found in a bright and air-conditioned veranda with direct garden access via patio doors. A comfortable sofa and armchairs are positioned around the television for unwinding after enjoying a meal at the adjacent dining table for four. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with every appliance and convenience you could need. A laundry room with washing machine is external to the villa. There are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom at Villa Anfora, with one having its own ensuite bathroom. There’s also a well-appointed family bathroom for the use of all guests.
Within the lawned garden is a private swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a variety of typical Mediterranean plants. The views from the pool across the countryside are incredibly picturesque. Rest in the shade of a leafy tree before enjoying an al fresco meal on the dining patio with built-in barbecue, stone oven and table for six.
The city of Ostuni is less than a 15-minute drive from the villa, with the coastline and its stunning beaches a further 10 minutes away. Take in the lush, olive grove-dotted landscapes of Parco Dune Costiere by car, bike or on foot - all the way to the beach. Here you can relax on immaculate sands and swim in the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea.
Also within easy reach is the wider Valle d'Itria area, which is characterised by traditional trulli, ancient towns and rolling hills. Perfect for an unforgettable day trip is the city of Lecce, with its wealth of baroque architecture and culture.

About the surrounding area of Villa AnforaNatural beauty is on the doorstep at Villa Anfora, with idyllic countryside stretching for miles all around you. Enjoy long walks and bike rides to discover the ancient olive groves and sleepy villages that are some of the most scenic features of the landscape.
Ostuni, otherwise known as ‘The White City’, is less than 15 minutes away from the villa by car. As well as the whitewashed buildings that populate the old town area, there are plenty of other historic attractions to tick off your sightseeing list. These include the 15th-century cathedral and city walls. If you visit the city on a Saturday, you’ll get to browse the fresh fruit and vegetable market. And towards the end of August is when the famous Cavalcata di Sant'Oronzo festival is held.
The pretty towns of the famous Valle d'Itria are within easy reach and include Cisterino Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello. Many have a charming, fairytale-like feel, with trulli-lined streets being a particular feature of Alberobello.
Head to the Ostuni coast to enjoy a day out by the sea. There’s a number of beautiful beaches on offer, so you’re totally spoilt for choice. One of the best is Quarto di Monte, with the parkland of Parco Dune Costiere just a few kilometres West. Visiting this beach means relaxing on the sand in the morning, then spending the afternoon exploring the wildlife and natural habitats of the park. There are inland olive groves, sand dunes and wetlands to discover, with many trails to hike and cycle along. You can also take guided tours to learn more about the stunning area.
Another place of interest for a trip is the city of Lecce. It’s just over an hour’s drive away and is full of baroque buildings and cultural charm, as well as much more ancient landmarks. As a result of its rich history and art, it’s often referred as ‘Florence of the South’.

Best Suited For: All AgesParco Dune Costiere is a great place to enjoy a family day out, as you can explore this beautiful area on foot or by bike. Take in the luscious scenery that features rambling olive groves right up to the coast.
There are many lidos along the coast that are within a 30-minute drive of the villa. Lido Morelli is one of the most family-friendly, with its lovely beach and calm waters for swimming and boating.
Just over 30 minutes away by car is Zoosafari Fasanolandia. A zoo and theme park, this fun spot is sure to keep the children active and entertained. As well as roller coasters and rides being on offer, the animals you’ll see here include monkeys, tigers and lions. Also drive through the safari park and enjoy some live shows.

Across the owner’s seven hectare estate, including Villa Anfora and the grand Casa Azzurra, enjoy the tranquillity and enchanting countryside views as you celebrate your wedding in idyllic surroundings.
Whether an intimate ceremony in front of the enchanting façade of Casa Azzura or a larger celebration in a marquee set up in the beautiful grounds, this is a magical setting where you and your guests can enjoy traditional local cuisine and delicious wines from Puglian vineyards as you gaze out towards ancient olive trees and mesmerising valley views.

Wedding Ceremony
Ceremonies can take place in the grounds of the estate, outside Casa Azzurra, or in a local town, (Ostuni, Cisternino or Ceglie Messapica) in which case shuttle buses can be arranged for guests.
There is a veranda facing the pool where up to 30 guests can be seated, alternatively for a larger ceremony up to 100 attendees can be seated on the lawn and grounds with the possibility of a gazebo.
The owners can provide an English-speaking celebrant.
Wedding Reception
A gazebo or a marquee can be set up in the grounds (recommended in case of rain). Dancing for up to 100 guests can take place outside Casa Azzurra.
Additional Fees for Events
The venue charges an additional fee to be paid direct.
Wedding Planning
The owner can provide a wedding planner. The owners can arrange chairs, tables, flowers, lighting, a dancefloor, photographer, music including a folk music band and dancing as well as many other services.
Catering
Catering must be arranged with the owners and they use their own suppliers. There are various options depending on what the client is looking for and their budget.

Day before and after events are permitted at an extra cost, please enquire for details.
Where To Stay
The various properties on the estate can host up to 23 guests (or 27 with additional beds). Further guests can stay in other local villas or apartments and a shuttle service can be provided.
Venue Accessibility
There is limited accessibility via public transportation, guests may need rideshares or taxis. There is complimentary parking on-site. There is limited wheelchair accessibility, please enquire for details.

Tents can be set up outdoors for rain.
Wedding Suppliers
The venue has a range of suppliers for clients to use, but clients are also able to bring their own suppliers.
Flexibility on Duration
During the high-season the estate must be rented out for a minimum of one week. At all other times a minimum stay of three nights exists.
Children
Children are welcome (no event childcare services are available).
Noise Restrictions
Noise should be minimised after a certain hour to respect neighbours.
Other Information
Guests have to hire out the whole estate when booking a wedding (Trullo Joel, Casa Azzurra, Villa Anfora and Casale Pratelli), as well as paying the relevant event fees.
There are no restrictions on decoration and themes - bring your creative ideas!
There is limited security measures in place (as always, guests are responsible for their belongings).
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
