Borgo Pignano, Tuscany

Borgo Pignano, Tuscany: Overview

Perched on a tranquil Tuscan hilltop, Borgo Pignano blends refined elegance with exceptional comfort – where beautifully crafted accommodations, Michelin-starred cuisine, and soul-soothing wellness experiences come together in perfect harmony. Whether you’re stealing away for a romantic escape or gathering the whole family for unforgettable moments, every space has been thoughtfully created to embrace you with warmth, generous comfort, and the effortless charm of Tuscany’s quiet beauty.

Borgo Pignano’s history traces back to Etruscan times. First recorded in 1139 – just before the rise of San Bartolomeo Apostolo – the estate has held its place on centuries of maps, some of which now rest in the treasured collections of the Vatican and the Uffizi. It’s a story etched into the landscape, quietly enduring and beautifully preserved.

Borgo Pignano carries a deep-rooted promise to its land – one that earned Green Globe certification in 2021 and continues to guide every detail of the estate. Restorations honour local tradition with natural, homegrown materials, while forward-thinking initiatives, such as renewable energy sources and gardens nourished by collected rainwater, ensure this remarkable landscape flourishes for generations to come.
