Villa Santa Venere is a traditional stone farmhouse surrounded by orchards, forests and olive groves in the province of Salerno, south-west Italy. Rurally located and yet close to the town of Pollica, the hamlet of Acciaroli and some of Italy’s most breath-taking beaches.
You will find the villa at the end of a quiet lane on a hillside, surrounded only by lush greenery. The property comprises the main villa, which is a 2-storey farmhouse, and an additional two outbuildings. In total, the home can accommodate up to 15 guests, making it perfect for a trip with a larger group.
The main house has three bedrooms upstairs, while downstairs has a cosy living room, a dining room and a kitchen. If you are travelling with a few couples or maybe a number of small family groups, then the two additional dwellings are fantastic for a bit of privacy, but still allow you to be able to come together over dinner. Each of the outbuildings has a double bedroom, a bathroom and a living space with a kitchen and a double sofa bed, so up to 4 guests can sleep in each.
The vast 5 hectares of grounds are shared between the three buildings and are a wonderful communal space. You could unwind in the private pool with a hydromassage feature, dine al-fresco or take a walk amongst the fruit trees in the orchard area. The garden even has a stream you can listen to as you sunbathe.
This home's location is brilliant; you can enjoy spending time in the forests and countryside around the villa, but you will not feel isolated as the town of Pollica is 4km away and has all the amenities you need. Also 4km away is Acciaroli, a seaside hamlet with incredible beaches.
