Lalysos enjoys plenty of shops and bars and a fabulous pebble and shingle beach which is only five minutes walk from the apartment. The village is also known as Trianda. Lalysos is a village oozing Greek charm and boasting ancient ruins that are found in its pine covered hills. Its beach is very popular with windsurfers who enjoy the breeze and waves. Lalysos’ neighbour, Ixia, is a popular resort which boasts a lovely seaside promenade lined with palms, bars, cafes and restaurants. Guests staying at Villa Ambros enjoy visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Rhodes, especially in the evenings for its brilliant nightlife. The Old Town enjoys charming narrow streets, gorgeous historic buildings and a wonderful dining scene. Guests also enjoy visits to the Lindos Acropolis, the island’s most exquisite archaeological site and the heavenly sandy beaches in the south of the island.
