An elegant beachfront hideaway in a corner of paradise, Vourvourou Sea Villa offers a luxury escape like no other for up to eight guests. The villa boasts a private pool, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. With beautiful outdoor spaces and unforgettable views, this stunning island holiday home is the ideal place to relax and unwind with your loved ones.
A dip in the sun-soaked pool is the perfect way to start your day. With a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower available, as well as sumptuous sunbeds and plenty of garden space to enjoy, complete relaxation is on your doorstep, before you have even taken a few steps down to the sandy white beach below. The large outdoor space also offers a covered dining area with a grill, so that the whole family can enjoy a memorable meal together after a day spent exploring the glorious bay of Vourvourou. The terrace also provides a romantic spot for a glass of wine while you take in the amazing Halkidiki sunset.
From the pool, wide patio doors lead to the villa’s bright and airy interior living space. Here, guests will find a comfortable seating area with a flat-screen TV, perfect for lounging after a day spent out on the water. The modern, open-plan space flows seamlessly into a spacious dining area, adjacent to a well-equipped kitchen where you have the option to prepare a memorable meal at home or simply use the coffee machine provided for breakfast with a view. On the ground floor, you will also find two bathrooms fitted with walk-in showers and two lovely, bright bedrooms, one twin room and one room with a king-size bed. Both bedrooms enjoy access via patio doors to the wonderful terrace and swimming pool outside.
On the first floor, another well-appointed kitchen is at your disposal. Here, you will find a similar layout to the ground floor below, with an open-plan living room (complete with a sofa bed), a dining area and two bedrooms alongside two bathrooms. The bedrooms provided upstairs are also a twin room and a room with a king-size bed. Both bedrooms upstairs have their own balconies overlooking the pool and garden, as well as the sparkling sea below. The upstairs seating area leads out to its own private balcony with comfortable seating, a tranquil space to relax with a book in peace and quiet.
Free private parking is also available on site. The villa is ideally situated for you to make the most of all that heavenly Halkidiki has to offer, from an exquisite beach right on your doorstep to exotic island escapes.

Location
About the surrounding area of Vourvourou SeaHalkidiki is a region famous for its three striking peninsulas, encompassing dense pine forests, traditional villages, magical islands and serene, sheltered bays.
With an archipelago made up of nine islands, the village of Vourvourou (located in Sithonia, the ‘second finger’ of the Halkidiki peninsulas) is a truly enchanting example of all of the natural beauty that this little-known gem of the Aegean coastline has to offer. Whether you want to spend the day sunbathing before dinner at your local taverna, or exploring secluded coves and inlets by boat before a picnic on an uninhabited island, the pristine turquoise waters of Vourvourou Bay are a fine place to start.
The sandy beaches and calm waters may provide plenty of temptation to stay on the mainland, but a boat trip around the nearby islands is really not to be missed. There are plenty of options for boat rentals to be found along the main beach, or at the northern end of the bay. Boats can be rented without a license here, giving you ample time to cruise the crystal-clear waters, stopping at your leisure to swim or snorkel near hidden beaches. If you would prefer to sit back and relax, take one of the many island cruises offered to visitors.
Whichever way you decide to spend your time on the water, make sure that a visit to Diaporos is on the agenda. The largest of Vourvourou’s cluster of islands, Diaporos offers a truly exotic getaway. The island draws visitors in with its stunning blue lagoon, where the crystalline waters must be seen to be believed. Make sure to bring some drinks and snacks with you for the trip, as you will not want to leave this Halkidiki treasure in a hurry. On land, the island’s terrain is made for hiking and nature enthusiasts, with trails from the beach taking you through Diaporos’ gorgeous woodland. Don’t forget to stop off at Myrsini Beach, a paradise picnic spot under the shade of the pine trees.
It is of course worth exploring the other islands of Vourvourou, such as Agios Isidoros, Ampelitsi and Peristeri (this little islet is less than one kilometre in length, with its own beautiful lighthouse from which you can look back at the views of the bay). After a day spent island hopping, make your way back to the mainland in time to soak up the sunset from your villa before a well-earned dinner at one of Vourvourou’s excellent restaurants.

Getting There
How to reach Halkidiki
The nearest airport is the International Airport of Thessaloniki. This is about 16km from Thessaloniki. From this region of Thermi you can get to Halkidiki by bus or Taxi. There are several domestic flights that run from Athens Airport to the airport in Thessaloniki too.

Best Suited For: All AgesWhile a beautiful swimming pool, smart TVs and WiFi may be enough to entertain younger visitors throughout your stay, it should not be too difficult to entice them to walk the few steps down from the villa to Vourvourou Beach, where they are sure to have lots of fun in the tranquil blue waters of the bay. Another inviting option less than 25 minutes away on foot is Karidi Beach, which provides an aquamarine oasis that is ideal for the whole family. This beach is particularly famous for its fine white sands and shallow waters, making it a safe place for little ones to paddle and play.
For slightly older children, there is sure to be nothing quite so exciting as a day spent out on the water. With the magical blue lagoon at Diaporos easily accessible by boat and the whole island a joy to explore, pack a picnic and plenty of water and spend the day exploring this uninhabited island paradise. Children will adore snorkelling in the clear blue waters, where an array of colourful fish and aquatic life can be found. If the whole family fancies taking a day cruise from the bay together, make sure to keep an eye out for friendly dolphins, who may choose to escort you on your way home.
There is a variety of water sports available for adventure-seekers, from paddle boarding to sea kayaking around the many secret coves of Halkidiki’s nine islands. With endless opportunities to explore, younger visitors will never tire of the water. However, for the chance to get out of the sun and spend some time back on land, there are woodland walks under cool, shady trees, with flat terrain suited to everyone. For those looking for a more challenging hike, head inland towards the impressive Dragoudeliou – Karra, home to Mount Itamos, Sithonia’s highest peak. This area’s wildlife and vegetation give way to glorious views of the whole peninsula. From here, it’s back to your own private garden by the pool, where there is space to play or to lounge with a book before dinner.
Should you decide to rent a car and venture out a bit further, Halkidiki has plenty to keep budding historians and archaeologists busy! Take a trip to Aristotle Park by the ancient town of Stagira, the birthplace of the great Greek philosopher. This unique theme park is popular with families thanks to the range of interactive activities it has to offer. A drive to the picturesque town of Ouranoupoli brings you closer to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Athos, which is recognised for both its cultural and natural significance.
Visitors young and old will undoubtedly want to return to the stunning blue waters of Halkidiki time and time again. With its unforgettable views and relaxing ambience, Vourvourou Sea Villa is the perfect place to gather the family together for a holiday to remember.
