With emerald green waters, the beach is a fabulous spot for snorkeling and is very popular with windsurfers. Avlaki Beach is located between the villages of Agios Stefanos and the magical resort of Kassiopi.

Avlaki Beach House offers a unique sense of privacy, surrounded by its perfumed pretty gardens and its beautiful relaxation spots. It is very easy to see that this property is much loved by its owners. The attention to detail and its special touches are delightful. The main villa and the first cottage enjoy a fabulous, typically Greek colour palette of blues, whites and vanilla. Throughout, they boast bleached wooden ceilings, gorgeous art work and very attractive accessories that all blend beautifully with the sumptuous, elegant furnishings. This heavenly property exudes an air of calm serenity.

The main villa offers two double bedrooms, one with a contemporary ensuite shower room, a second shower room, a calm and serene living room and an outstanding open plan kitchen and dining area which spills out onto a gorgeous, shaded terrace. The living room enjoys a superb beamed ceiling that offers a glorious sense of space. Extravagant sofas surround the beautiful feature fireplace along with French and sliding doors that flood the room with natural light. The dining area is equally stunning and the kitchen immaculate. The main villa boasts two luxurious havens, one a with a kingsize bed and the second with twins, both beautifully dressed with hotel quality linens, velvet cushions and beautiful throws. The bathrooms enjoy contemporary walk-in showers. The porch is beautifully furnished too and offers an excellent position to enjoy the gorgeous sea views across the pretty garden. At the back of the main villa is another relaxation area and another gorgeous area of the garden as well as the very welcome private pool. The pool terrace enjoys luxury loungers and numerous striking plant pots.

The second cottage is home to a luxurious master bedroom suite as well as a beautifully appointed living space with velvet sofas and a smart kitchen. Again, the bathroom is stunning with top-notch fittings. The cottage opens out onto another stunning, plant draped terrace with outdoor furniture including sun loungers and a hammock.

At the rear of the garden is the final building, a cute bedroom suite with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The bed enjoys a superb upholstered headboard which is very striking and offers luxurious appeal. This private nest enjoys its own deck with a lounger and glorious garden views. It really does not matter which room you have in Avlaki Beach House, every one enjoys its own charms and privacy. There are not many comparable properties that offer so many idyllic spaces and such charm.

The generous front garden, brimming with colourful plants, enjoys both the porch and a beachfront alfresco lounge and dining area. Here you will discover a barbecue and pizza oven which you can enjoy to the sounds of the lapping waves.

The island of Corfu has over 120 beaches in total, a few hundred charming villages, nearly a thousand churches, a significant mountain range, valleys, waterfalls and forests as well as more than three million olive trees, three lagoons and numerous enchanting caves. The island’s fauna and flora is world famous, largely due to the Durrell family and the TV series. There is much to discover!

Avlaki Beach is located on the north eastern coast of Corfu, not far from the picturesque resort of Kassiopi. It is a tranquil resort with a pretty pebbled beach that enjoys dappled shade from the pine and olive trees that are sprinkled along it. Avlaki Beach enjoys some watersports and a few tavernas that serve delicious food.

In the centre of the north coast you will find Acharavi, a delightful resort which enjoys a wonderful variety of shops, bars and restaurants. These are sprinkled along the central street and along the beach promenade. Acharavi’s 3 km golden sandy beach stretches the whole length of the town. Visitors enjoy a wonderful selection of beach bars.

Paleokastritsa is rumoured to be the mythical island of the Phaeacians and the Bay of Paleokastritsa to be the place where Odysseus disembarked and met Nausicaa for the first time. The monastery in Paleokastritsa dates back to 1225 and is home to an interesting museum which houses the holy and precious relics of the monastery. It stands on a sheer hillside brimming with trees and olives facing the deep blue sea. The resort is very hilly and nestles beneath the folds of steep verdant slopes of olive groves and citrus orchards. Agios Spyridon is the the most famous beach in Paleokastritsa.

Within very easy reach of Avlaki Beach House is the picturesque resort of Kassiopi. With the dramatic Mount Pantokrator overlooking the resort and with a stunning harbour, this once quiet fishing village is a must visit. Kassiopi boasts traditional narrow streets overlooked by the ruins of an ancient Byzantine castle together with breathtaking views out to sea towards the Albanian coast. There is a good selection of excellent restaurants and some good shops. Visitors enjoy delightful, tranquil walks around the headland.

The elegant Corfu Town or Kerkyra as it is otherwise known, is roughly 35 km away. Corfu Town is one of the most populated towns in the whole of the Ionian Islands. The entire old city is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Corfu Town’s unique charm, sophistication, character, atmosphere and fine dining should not be missed. The town’s stunning architecture enjoys many influences including Sicilian, Venetian, French and English. This beautiful town is brimming with elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares, majestic fortresses and the very best selection of gastronomic restaurants.

Avlaki Beach House is excellent for a family holiday so long as your children are not all very young. The main villa boasts two bedrooms plus there is one in each of the cottages. Much older children appreciate having their own space in the two cottages but this will not work for young children. The beachfront setting is amazing and the pool is excellent.

Families enjoy an excellent array of activities on Corfu. There are many beaches to choose from, from hidden, quiet coves to magnificent, highly organised stretches of sand with water sports and dining facilities everywhere. Avlaki Beach is popular for snorkeling and other watersports but it is a pebble beach and can be a little windy in the afternoons. Acharavi is an excellent family friendly beach with several schools teaching children to sail or windsurf. Avlaki is also a good spot for equestrian fun at the local Dimitris stables. Children of all ages are welcome and if the riders are proficient they may even get to discover the gorgeous coastline with the guides.

For some thrilling fun, children adore the Aqualand water park. The park offers rides, slides and fun for all ages, boasting a lazy river, wave pool, kayaking, rafting and extreme slides such as the Double Twister, Kamikaze and the Hurricane Twist.

For a totally different day out, you can head to the majestic Mount Pantokrator, the highest peak in Corfu and a popular pilgrim spot. It boasts the most amazing views of the whole of Corfu Island. On a clear day you can even see Albania and Italy even though Italy is 130km away! There are plenty of hiking trails.

In Corfu Town, children enjoy climbing the walls of the Old Fortress, the Venetian fort built in the 15th century and the New Fortress. The fortresses boast fantastic views of the turquoise waters. Also in Corfu Town, you can take a trip in Kalypso Star, the glass-bottomed boat that leaves the harbour to explore the Ionian Sea’s fascinating marine life. A ten minute boat trip from Corfu Town takes you to the tiny island of Vidos where you can enjoy feeding the rabbits, seeing the peacocks, swimming and having lunch at the charming taverna.
