The simple elegance of Maison des Artisans is sure to impress you as you stay at this beautiful abode with heated swimming pool nearby to a small yet charming Provençal village.

Maison des Artisans is a contemporary and stylish holiday home for up to 8 guests, set in a picturesque garden and backed by olive trees. The minimalist décor is not short on comfort whilst fantastic features include not only air-conditioning and underfloor heating but also a retro-projector and home cinema.

Outside, the garden is glorious with its shaded patio, bar and table for al-fresco dining alongside a wonderful outdoor lounge beneath the pergola, both overlooking the immaculate lawn and close to the heated swimming pool.

The local village is just 1km away and the roads leading there are adnorned with leaning pines, plane trees and other attractive villas. There are a couple of highly regarded restaurants on the edge of the village and a café-restaurant, boulangerie and grocery store in the centre. The heart of Maussane-les-Alpilles (2.5km) is just a little further, such a picturesque spot with a wider choice of restaurants, a Thursday morning market and pretty shops.

Les Alpilles is a magnificent region for walking, cycling and horse-riding whilst picture-perfect villages waiting to be discovered include Les Baux-de-Provence and Eygalières. Soak up the Provençal ambiance of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, reached within a 20-minute drive, or continue to follow Van Gogh’s footsteps in Arles, just 17km away.

Embrace the romance of Aix-en-Provence, visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Avignon and explore the captivating landscapes of the Camargue, perhaps even as far as the Mediterranean coastline with the beach at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer reached within an hour.
