The view is best enjoyed from the idyllic poolside terrace with its sun loungers, pool house and stone barbecue. Or appreciate the scenery from one of the upper terraces near the house, the perfect place for a morning coffee as the world wakes up around you. The verdant surroundings are glorious with Mediterranean plants and trees creating such a restful ambience. As the day ends, gather with family and friends with a glass of Côtes de Provence and gaze out to the everchanging sky.
Having undergone a recent renovation, the interiors are bright and comfortable with a spacious lounge benefitting from that sea view as well as a modern kitchen-diner. There is also a separate TV lounge (with sofa-bed) alongside five double bedrooms (two of which can be made up as twins), alongside four bath/shower rooms (two en suite).
Fall in love with the perched village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup with its winding cobbled lanes, vaulted archways, pretty little cafes, restaurants and art studios. Soak up the artistic ambience of Vence and St Paul de Vence, just a little further afield, and visit the contemporary art exhibitions and Joan Miró sculpture garden at the highly regarded Fondation Maeght.
Meanwhile, this region is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts across the landscapes of the Gorges du Loup or venture towards Cap d’Antibes for incredible coastal walking.
In less than half an hour you could be strolling along Cagnes-sur-Mer’s seaside promenade or drive a little further to the museums and art galleries of Nice, the charming lanes and sandy beach of Villefranche-sur-Mer, the chic beachside restaurants of Juan-les-Pins or the palm-fringed shores of Cannes, all wonderful experiences along the French Riviera.

About the surrounding area of Maison Vue MerMaison Vue Mer is in the heart of the Côte d’Azur hinterland close to the village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, just half an hour by car from Nice Airport. If arriving by train, Cagnes-sur-Mer (15km) is the nearest train station whilst TGV trains from Paris arrive into Antibes (25km) or Nice-Ville (27km).
Located at the end of a hillside lane, Maison Vue Mer enjoys incredible views of the distant coastline below. The charming village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup is only 2km away, a joy to explore with its narrow medieval lanes, pretty squares and fountains, vaulted archways, art studios, inviting restaurants and little shops. In a perched setting, the views from Tourrettes-sur-Loup are incredible.
The next village along is artistic Vence (6km), so loved for its historic charm and beauty. Soak up the traditional ambience as you potter around its daily market, dine out in excellent restaurants and visit Notre-Dame de la Nativité, now a classified monument. St Paul de Vence (8.5km) is another must-see during your stay where you can follow the footsteps of Picasso, Chagall and so on. Both neighbouring villages are renowned for their rich artistic heritage – art-lovers should visit Fondation Maeght (7.5km) and Matisse’s Chapelle du Rosaire (6km).
Meanwhile, outdoor adventurists will love the Gorges du Loup, a paradise for hikers, nature lovers and swimmers or try activities such canyoning and aquatic hiking. There are so many opportunities for walking, hiking, cycling and horse-riding across the Côte d’Azur and its hinterland.
Heading down towards the coast, discover a wealth of glorious beaches and seasonal watersports by Cagnes-sur-Mer (16km), Juan-les-Pins (30km) and Cannes (33km). Boat trips are a wonderful way to admire the beauty of the French Riviera or simply enjoy the ambience of the Côte d’Azur from a chic beachside restaurant.

Discover a range of hiking (depending on your ability) around the beautiful landscapes of the Gorges du Loup or look out for family-friendly outdoor adventures in the Les Rives du Loup natural park – this 55-hectare park is classified as a Natura 2000 site for its flora and fauna and offers picnic areas, walking trails and other nature activities.
Accrobranche Riviera Nature Grasse is a great spot for tree-top adventures and zip lines or spend the day at Le Bois des Lutins, loved especially by younger children. Le Village des Fous is another amusement park (next door to Le Bois des Lutins) and there is also an urban football centre in the same area.
Down by the coast, try watersports around Cagnes-sur-Mer, Plage Villeneuve-Loubet and Juan-les-Pins (amongst many other places) as well as various boat trips from Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes. Furthermore, just north of Antibes, a range of seasonal family attractions include Marineland, Antibes Land Park, Aquasplash and Adventure Golf.
