Chalet Eolia brings together generous space, contemporary alpine style and high quality facilities in the heart of Courchevel Le Praz. Spread across five levels and served by a private lift, it offers a calm and comfortable base with everything guests need for a relaxed stay. The main living floor is bright and welcoming, centred around a modern fireplace and large windows that open onto a balcony and terrace. This open plan space includes a dining area, a breakfast corner and a fully equipped semi open kitchen, making it easy for everyone to gather after time on the mountain.

The chalet’s wellness level is one of its standout features. Here guests can unwind in the indoor swimming pool, take time out in the sauna or enjoy a quiet cup of tea in the dedicated lounge. A cinema room provides another option for relaxing evenings. Five bedrooms are arranged across the lower and upper sleeping floors, all with their own private bathrooms. Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor of the property, offering easy access for multigenerational groups.

The location is ideal for enjoying the full Courchevel experience. The Le Praz gondola is only a short walk away, linking guests to the pistes and wider Three Valleys ski area, while the village centre is moments from the front door. In winter, guests have access to excellent skiing, ski schools, cross country tracks and snowshoeing routes. During the summer months, walking paths, mountain biking trails and paragliding opportunities are readily available, along with access to the region’s lakes and high altitude viewpoints. Chalet Eolia delivers year round appeal with a strong mix of comfort, convenience and modern alpine style.

As the Courchevel resorts are quite spread out, we recommend renting a vehicle during the duration of your stay if you wish to get out and about in the wider area
Courchevel Le Praz is well known for its family-centric style, the perfect location for those looking to reconver after a day on the mountains, not wishing to be disturbed by the lively après of the higher-up resorts.

Chalet Eolia is set in the charming village of Courchevel Le Praz, a peaceful corner of the Three Valleys with easy access to the wider ski area. The chalet sits only a short walk from the village centre, where guests will find traditional restaurants, cafes and shops, along with the fast Le Praz gondola that links directly to higher Courchevel altitudes.

With the lift just a few minutes from the front door, it is straightforward to reach the pistes each morning, while the ski school and nursery slopes are close by for families and beginners. The area also offers cross country trails and scenic snowshoe routes through the forests that surround the village.

Le Praz is just as appealing in the summer months. The walking paths begin within moments of the chalet and range from gentle lakeside routes to high altitude viewpoints with sweeping mountain scenery. Cyclists will find both road climbs and off road trails, while paragliding and other outdoor activities are available throughout the valley. Thanks to its calm setting, pretty streets and excellent links to the wider region, Le Praz works well for guests who want a relaxed base with plenty of year round alpine experiences on the doorstep.

The Region

Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife.

The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice. The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the 3 Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys.

Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape. With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers.

But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.

In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski.

Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.
