Apartment Grand Solleit offers a smart and welcoming base in the prestigious Carré Blanc residence in Courchevel Village. Set on the seventh floor, it brings together warm Alpine character and modern practicality, creating a comfortable retreat for guests looking to stay close to the slopes. Soft natural tones, light timber and thoughtful lighting give the interior a relaxed feel, while the open plan layout keeps the space sociable after a day on the mountain.

The living area is designed for effortless downtime, with a cosy seating corner and doors that open onto a balcony with open mountain views. The adjoining dining space and fully equipped kitchen make mealtimes easy. Useful additions such as a Nespresso machine, raclette set and fondue pot mean you can enjoy simple evenings at home as much as time out in the village.

The apartment sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. The main bedroom features a generous double bed, built in storage, a safe and its own ensuite shower room. The second bedroom offers twin beds that can be set up as a double if required and sits next to a separate bathroom with a bathtub. A separate WC completes the layout.

Guests staying at Apartment Grand Solleit have access to excellent shared facilities within the residence. These include a fitness room for daily workouts and a wellness space offering treatments and a sauna for an additional fee. Two underground parking spaces and a private ski locker add convenience throughout your stay. With the pistes only twenty metres away and the Grangettes lift a short walk from the door, the apartment is an easy choice for those wanting quick and simple access to the Three Valleys.

The central position means easy access to everything, but you can expect some typical village noise. With the lifts and slopes close by, you may hear piste bashers and lift operations in the early morning and evening.

Location

Apartment Grand Solleit sits in a prime spot in Courchevel Village, only twenty metres from the nearest piste and within a short one hundred metre walk of the Grangettes lift. The location is ideal for skiers who want straightforward access to the Three Valleys without the busier feel of the higher villages. Courchevel Village has a relaxed atmosphere with everything close at hand, making it an easy base for families and couples who value convenience.

Ski schools operate nearby and the gentle local slopes give beginners and younger skiers plenty of room to build confidence. More experienced guests can head straight up the gondola and connect quickly into the wider area. When the day winds down, the village offers a simple selection of restaurants, bakeries and shops that are all within comfortable walking distance of the residence.

Those looking for alternative winter activities will find snowshoe trails and cross country routes close to the village, as well as the Aquamotion centre which is easily reached for swimming, wellness treatments and waterslides. With everything positioned so close to the apartment, Apartment Grand Solleit works well for guests who want a smooth and fuss free ski holiday in Courchevel.

Getting to and around

Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife.

The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice. The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the 3 Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys.

Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape. With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers.

But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.

In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski.

Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.
