Set over a generous one hundred and seventeen square metres, the apartment is designed for relaxed mountain living, with a bright open-plan lounge that leads onto a balcony and terrace where you can take in the surrounding peaks. Warm timber finishes, soft furnishings and a practical layout make it well suited to families or two households travelling together.

The living area includes a welcoming seating corner and a dining table that comfortably accommodates the full group. A modern kitchen sits alongside, equipped with ceramic hobs, an oven, dishwasher, freezer, coffee machine and washer dryer, giving guests everything they need for a straightforward stay. Four bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements, including a family room with a double bed and two bunk beds, a separate double room, a master bedroom with its own bathroom, and a cosy cabin room with bunk beds that works well for children.

Practical features make skiing simple from the moment you arrive. There is a ski locker for storing equipment, an indoor parking space, and lift access within the residence. Linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are provided, while beds are made ready for your arrival. With slopes roughly twenty metres away and the village centre close by, Apartment Cotton Grass strikes a strong balance between convenience and comfort, giving guests an easy and well-organised base for exploring the Three Valleys.

What you should know

The cabin room with bunk beds doesn’t have windows, and is connected to the double bedroom on the ground floor. The cabin room is also only suitable for younger guests due to its size
The single beds in the family bedroom can be converted into a double bed

Apartment Cotton Grass sits in Courchevel Village, a friendly and practical base within the Three Valleys. The resort offers quick access to the wider ski area through the Grangettes gondola, which rises directly to Courchevel 1850. From the apartment, guests can reach the nearest slope within a few steps, making it easy to start the day without navigating busy streets or long walks in ski gear. The local pistes are ideal for mixed-ability groups, with gentle runs leading into the village and long cruising routes higher up the mountain.

Courchevel Village has a down-to-earth feel compared to its higher-altitude neighbours. You will find useful shops, a small selection of restaurants and casual bars, along with a choice of ski schools and equipment hire. Everything sits within a compact radius, so families can move around easily. The Aquamotion centre is also close, offering pools, slides and wellness facilities that are popular on rest days or snowy afternoons. With reliable lift links and a quieter atmosphere than the upper levels of the resort, Courchevel Village offers a straightforward and well connected setting for guests who want easy skiing and a calm place to return to at the end of the day.

The Region

Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife.

The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice. The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the 3 Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys.

Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape. With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers.

But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.

In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski.

Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.
