Villa Panorama certainly lives up to its name! Wow! It sits majestically in the Paphos-Peyai Hills next to the gorgeous Pikni Pine Forest with the most phenomenal views down to the sweeping coastline that stretches from Paphos to the rugged beauty of the Sea Caves. It is a fantastic choice for large groups of family or friends with six bedrooms and a couple of mezzanine levels ideal for children. This dreamy villa sits just below its sister villa which we also feature so if you have more than fifteen guests you may also want to take a look at Villa Oceania as well. With magnificent views from almost every angle of the property, a truly peaceful location and fantastic entertainment spaces, the villa offers a totally relaxing holiday yet is within easy reach of the lively entertainment of Paphos and the island’s mesmerising beaches.

This gorgeous rural location is abundant in flora, fauna and native trees such as juniper and terebinths. Just a short drive down the mountainside brings you to the village of Peyia with its friendly traditional tavernas, restaurants, bars cafes and shops. Also close by is the village of Kathikas where there are some charming eateries. The Peyia Hills are inland from the fabulous Coral Bay and roughly seven and a half miles north of Paphos. Paphos Old Town is a recognised site of historic and archaeological importance as the Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos. The entire town is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and is wonderful for an evening stroll and dinner.

The design of Villa Panorama makes the most of its exclusive, unique position. With huge picture windows and plenty of balconies and terraces, almost every room enjoys a fabulous view. The property is spread out with a main house, a wing and an annexe. The main house enjoys a huge open plan living space with lots of character including beams, exposed stone walls, a vaulted ceiling in the dining area and lots of warm colour. A giant modern corner sofa sits in the living area sprinkled with scatter cushions and the dining area looks out to the pool area and down to the sea. There is an ornamental fireplace, a large flatscreen television, DVD player and a music system. The kitchen is perfect for a self-catering stay with excellent stainless steel appliances, granite work surfaces and there is a separate utility room for laundry. The breakfast bar makes it a sociable space. You can open a chilled bottle of wine and keep the chefs in your group company.

The six bedrooms are spread throughout the villa. There are two on the first floor of the main building including the master suite with its spacious ensuite bathroom and lengthy balcony where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee and the spectacular vistas. The second room is a delightful twin with an ensuite shower room and access to the balcony. The ground floor of the main wing enjoys two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. One of these twin rooms offers a mezzanine level with two single beds which are ideal for children. The two-storey annex sleeps five guests but it also offers an open plan living area with comfy seating, a compact kitchen and a small dining table for four. A wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine sleeping area with two single beds. This is a cosy space with a sloping ceiling. On the ground floor of the annex is a double room which has access to a family bathroom. There is also a simple small single bedroom with an ensuite shower room that is tucked behind the living space that can be used for an extra guest.

Villa Panorama enjoys delightful landscaped gardens and numerous terraces. It boasts a large uniquely shaped swimming pool with a bridge over it, a children’s pool, a jacuzzi which can be heated for an extra cost, a wonderful shaded alfresco dining space and an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, perfect for your barbecue masters to prepare a feast that can be enjoyed while you watch the sun go down. The gardens are very mature with towering trees, lawns and beautifully planted borders. There are paved terraces and wooden decking where you can relax, enjoy the magnificent sunsets or stargaze late at night. The setting is amazing with the panorama constantly changing with the light during the day and evening. Villa Panorama is perfect for large celebrations and often hosts weddings and receptions.

Villa Panorama enjoys a wonderful rural location in the Peyai Hills above Coral Bay and Paphos. The views are astounding across the hillside and towards the coastline. Just below the villa is the village of Peyai, a charming place with a good selection of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Coral Bay is a lively coastal town with rustic tavernas, friendly bars and a fabulous Blue Flag sandy beach. The beach is backed by limestone cliffs and the turquoise waters are very inviting. There are shuttle buses that run from Coral Bay to the peaceful Potima Bay. Fifteen minutes drive south along the coast and twenty minutes directly from the villa is Paphos. It is a fascinating place with something for everyone. History lovers will enjoy discovering the mosaics that date back 2000 years at the Kato Paphos Archeological Park and the Tomb of the Kings is marvellous. Paphos Castle is a Byzantine building right on the water. The Paphos Archeological Museum is very interesting with artefacts excavated from fifteen sites that tell the story of the island from the Neolithic age. In the evenings, the Old Town comes alive with alfresco dining, buzzy bars and lots of tourists wandering down Agiou Antoniou Street. The market is wonderful and great for picking up little gifts. Paphos’ modern harbour is packed with bars and restaurants. You might like to stop at Aphrodite’s Rock Brewing Company. The west side of the island has been brewing beer for thousands of years. This craft pub and microbrewery was the first on the island using English brewing traditions to create authentic artisan ales. A tour is available on weekdays.

Pissouri Village and Beach enjoy unique Cypriot character. During the summer the village hosts a ‘Cyprus night’ in the delightful traffic free village square with dancing and music. The views from Pissouri Village are spectacular. It is possible to see the shore line all the way to Limassol and to the north you can see the magnificent Troodos range, including Mount Olympus, the highest mountain on the island.

Lara Beach is within easy reach of Villa Panorama. You will discover soft, golden sand and crystal clear waters though you may need to rent a 4 by 4 car to reach the beach. It is the breeding ground of the endangered Green turtle and Hawk’s Bill turtle. There are three official nature trails through the Akamas peninsula, the Adonis, Aphrodite and Smigies trails. They are interwoven with rocks, gorges and valleys and offer stunning views of the curved coastline, cliffs and boulders.

You could also head up to Polis and its neighbouring harbour village Latchi on Chrysohous Bay. Latchi boasts a string of fine fish restaurants where you will dine in style with panoramic sea views. The Baths of Aphrodite can be found near Latchi. You will discover a natural cavern that features a caved shallow pool surrounded by ferns and a large fig tree. A natural spring supplies the pool water and according to myth, Aphrodite would bathe in the pool and it is where she met her great love, Adonis. The waters are rumoured to hold special rejuvenating powers.

If you decide to head to the Troodos Mountains for a day to escape the heat, in the foothills you can visit the beautiful 12th century Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. It contains a museum celebrating Byzantine art and there is a beautiful sculpture of the Virgin Mary crafted from pure silver. The monastery enjoys sensational views from the Paphos Forest, gazing out over hillsides covered in cedar and cypress trees. Within the cool forests of the Troodos mountains you will discover some spectacular churches. Ten have been awarded World Heritage Status in recognition of their incredibly detailed and vibrant Byzantine frescoes.

Region

Paphos, a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus, is a destination steeped in history, culture and natural beauty. Renowned for its archaeological treasures, vibrant atmosphere and stunning landscapes, Paphos offers a diverse range of attractions and activities that cater to all interests.

One of the city's most significant attractions is the Paphos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that spans over one hundred acres. Visitors can wander through ancient ruins dating back to the Roman period, including well-preserved mosaics depicting scenes from Greek mythology. Paphos Castle, perched on the edge of the harbour, adds a touch of medieval charm to the city's skyline, offering a glimpse into its rich history. For those seeking a cultural experience, the Tombs of the Kings is another archaeological marvel. This necropolis, carved into the rock, served as the final resting place for high-ranking officials and nobles during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The intricate architecture and grandeur of the tombs provide a fascinating insight into the city's past.

Paphos is not just a haven for history enthusiasts. It also offers a vibrant waterfront sprinkled with cafes, restaurants and unique shops. Paphos Harbour is a hub of activity, where visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll, embark on boat trips or indulge in delicious fresh seafood at the local tavernas.

Families have fun at the Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark, a sprawling attraction featuring thrilling water slides, lazy rivers and dedicated play areas for younger children. The park provides a refreshing escape from the Mediterranean sun and promises a day filled with laughter and excitement for the whole family.

Venturing beyond Paphos, the Akamas Peninsula National Park beckons nature lovers. This protected area boasts diverse landscapes, including rugged cliffs, dense forests and pristine beaches. Visitors can explore the park on foot, by bike or even on a boat tour, enjoying the unspoiled beauty of the Mediterranean coast. A short drive leads to the charming village of Kouklia, home to the Sanctuary of Aphrodite. This ancient site, dedicated to the goddess of love and beauty, features the remains of a temple and an archaeological museum. The village itself exudes traditional Cypriot charm, with narrow streets and local artisans showcasing their crafts. Heading eastward, the town of Polis Chrysochous offers a quieter atmosphere and access to the stunning Akamas Peninsula. Here, visitors can explore the Baths of Aphrodite, a legendary spot where, according to mythology, the goddess of love bathed. The surrounding trails and viewpoints provide breathtaking vistas of the rugged coastline. For those interested in a more cosmopolitan experience, the city of Limassol is a bustling hub of modernity. The Limassol Marina, with its luxury yachts, upscale boutiques and waterfront dining, provides a fabulous contrast to Paphos's historical charm.

Paphos is a wonderful destination. Whether exploring ancient ruins, enjoying family-friendly attractions, lazing on the beach or discovering nearby towns and cities, Paphos offers an enriching experience for all who visit.

Villa Panorama is ideal for a family holiday. The villa is extremely spacious and enjoys beautiful gardens and an excellent swimming pool with a bridge. There is also a small children’s pool. Being up in the hills is a bit cooler than on the coast and there is some fantastic scenery.

Thrill-seeking children enjoy the fabulous waterparks on the island. There are three that are incredibly popular including Fassouri Watermania in Limassol, Waterworld Waterpark in Famagusta and the nearby Aphrodite Waterpark. This park boasts seventeen rides and attractions for children of all ages. There are four high-speed plunges including Racer where you face off against friends or family to see who can get to the bottom of the tube ride first. There is also a gentle lazy river, which meanders under waterfalls and fountains for a mile.

Another excellent excursion is to the amazing Ocean Aquarium, home to more than 1000 species such as piranhas, stingrays, turtles, crocodiles and penguins. It is a great day out in beautiful 12500 sqm of tropical gardens.

Another great outing is an organised authentic tour from Paphos to visit the unique five domed church of St Paraskevi, a traditional house in Letymbou, St Neophytos Monastery as well as seeing how halloumi and turkish delight are made, visiting a pottery workshop and tasting local wines. It is very interesting for children. You will also enjoy some traditional Cypriot cuisine during the trip.

Children love exploring the beautiful Akamas National Park with its wildlife and stunning landscapes. There are some excellent walking trails and beautiful butterflies to look out for. The park is mostly untouched by nature. Visitors enjoy thrilling jeep safari tours and boat rides to see some of the sites which can’t otherwise be reached including the beautiful Blue Lagoon.

There are plenty of fairytale castles including St Hilarion Castle on the north coast where Walt Disney apparently drew inspiration for his castle in Snow White. Buffavento Castle enjoys sensational views and is reached by a hilly hike, great for young ones. The magical Kantara Castle on the Karpas Peninsula boasts pretty turrets, plentiful towers and lots of lookouts.

Paphos is fabulous for family entertainment. It offers boat trips from the marina, parks, restaurants, cafes and much more. The Jolly Roger Pirates Cruise is a four hour cruise where visitors enjoy beautiful sea views while pirates roam the ships and put on an acrobatics show. Another must is a spine-tingling trip to the Tomb of the Kings. The popular Luna Park boasts a small funfair with ferris wheels and carousels.

  • Breathtaking view!

    on 11/08/2021

Fantastic location, breathtaking view. Well-equipped apartment, a very good base for exploring the west coast. The owner is very nice, helpful and committed. A great place, I recommend it!

  • Totally amazing

    on 10/08/2021

It's the second time I visit Panorama Wedding Cyprus Villas and I'm totally amazed! First for a wedding and second for a birthday party...! The view of Paphos from above day and night is outstanding! Villa and swimming pool extra clean.. But what made me to love it the most was the professionalism that the owner and manager had! For sure we will visit you again and again.. Cause moments spend there are the most valuable!

  • I'd recommend this place 100%!

    on 14/07/2021

Poly & Sevinos are absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they were both so friendly and kind. The villas are breathtaking, we had our wedding there beginning of June and everyone said it was such a stunning location. It's easy to drive to Coral Bay strip aswell which is great. I'd recommend this place 100% as we loved every minute! Thank you Poly & Sevinos x

  • Wonderful villa!

    on 13/10/2020

Just returned from the beautiful Oceania and panorama villas where we held our wedding in the latter. The villas catered for all our needs as we were a large group of 33 people. The villas were spotlessly clean and the views breathtaking. The owners went over and above to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend these villas for anyone without a shadow of a doubt.

  • Villa beyond our expectations

    on 09/09/2020

We were a group of 11 friends and our experience was great. Sevinos the owner is super friendly and helpful, feels like one of the friends.
The Villa itself is exceptional and beyond our expectations, a lot of space, clean, fully equipped and the view is outstanding.
We'll be back during the summer!

  • Beautiful villas!

    on 05/08/2020

5 stars are just not enough to rate our stay in both Panorama villa, and most importantly, the hospitality of the owner and family.

The villas themselves are beautiful – even pictures do not do it justice. Although sat up in the mountains, the owners have a good relationship with local taxi service so we had absolutely no trouble with accessibility. Clean, beautifully decorated and well designed. Jaw dropping.

Dealing with Poly and Sevinos (who run the villas) was just something else, they were amazing from the start, going over and above to accommodate myself and the 30 guests staying in across two villas. I have never experienced service quite like what we received; their attention to their guests was paramount.

I would recommend both the villas to absolutely everyone and would be more than happy to speak directly to anyone who wishes to confirm an independent review.

  • Fantastic villa!

    on 01/07/2020

Superb, well equiped, spacious, total luxury, views down valley outstanding and totally private. Loved staying here!

  • Highly recommended!

    on 17/06/2020

Celebrated wedding of our friends at this amazing place. We live in Cyprus for 4 years, and you can believe us, that Panorama Villas have one of the most outstanding views we've seen here. Additionally to an awesome modern interior, ideal location, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
