Limni Beach Villa sits within a gorgeous landscaped garden in the friendly village of Polis. Polis and its neighbouring harbour village Latchi enjoy a lovely position on Chrysohous Bay. Latchi boasts a string of fine fish restaurants where you will dine in style with panoramic sea views. The Baths of Aphrodite can be found near Latchi, roughly 18 miles from Paphos. It boasts a natural cavern that features a caved shallow pool surrounded by ferns and a large fig tree. A natural spring supplies the pool water and according to myth, Aphrodite would bathe in the pool and it is where she met her great love, Adonis. The waters are rumoured to hold special rejuvenating powers.
In the northwest corner of the island, the Akamas National Park covers an area of 239 km sprinkled with valleys, gorges and wide sandy bays. There are 168 varieties of birds, 20 different reptiles, 16 species of butterfly and a very rich variety of fauna. It is a wonderful area for wildlife, fauna and keen walkers and mountain bikers. The Blue Lagoon is very popular which many guests visit by boat. The crystal clear blue water is amazing and it is excellent for snorkeling.
Lara Beach is within easy reach of Limni Beach Villa. You will discover soft, golden sand and crystal clear waters though you may need to rent a 4 by 4 car to reach the beach. It is the breeding ground of the endangered Green turtle and Hawk’s Bill turtle. There are three official nature trails through the Akamas peninsula, the Adonis, Aphrodite and Smigies trails. They are interwoven with rocks, gorges and valleys and offer stunning views of the curved coastline, cliffs and boulders.
The vibrant tourist town of Paphos enjoys a diverse range of entertainment. It takes you back to ancient Greece with its temples and colourful mosaics, it treats you to delicious local cuisine, it offers excellent shopping opportunites and rewards you with wonderful cultural attractions. Paphos Old Town is a recognised site of historic and archaeological importance. The Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos. The entire town is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. For some culture, you can visit the Tomb of the Kings outside the northern walls of Paphos Town where the Egyptian catacombs are carved out of solid rock. You can also visit the wonderful Kato Paphos Archaeological Park which houses impressive Roman mosaics or the famous House of Dionysos. Up on the hill, the majestic columns of the Temple of Aphrodite frame the panoramic, sweeping sea views. The Old Town enjoys narrow cobbled streets lined with charming pavement cafes and bars and the modern harbour is packed with vibrant, buzzy bars and restaurants. Paphos’ Blue Flag beach is small but fabulous, right in the town centre. It is split into two parts with plenty of sunloungers and a wooden deck to enjoy the guaranteed sunshine.
Pissouri Beach and village enjoys delightful Cypriot character and spectacular views. During the summer it hosts a ‘Cyprus night’ in the lovely traffic free village square with dancing and music. It is possible to see the shore line all the way to Limassol and to the north you can see the Troodos range, including Mount Olympus, the highest mountain on the island. Amid the cool, fragrant pine and cedar forests of the Troodos mountains are some spectacular churches. Ten have been awarded World Heritage Status in recognition of their incredibly detailed and vibrant Byzantine frescoes. You can also visit the characterful village of Khirokhitia where the houses look like tiny ceramic pots. They were home to the earliest known civilisation on Cyprus.

Limni Beach Villa is ideal for families. The villa is very spacious and offers a gorgeous swimming pool and a beautiful garden. There is a table tennis table and pool table for some friendly competition and having access to the sea and a small beach at the bottom of the garden is a big plus!
Children love exploring the beautiful Akamas National Park with its wildlife and stunning landscapes. There are some excellent walking trails and beautiful butterflies to look out for. The park is mostly untouched by nature. Visitors enjoy thrilling jeep safari tours and boat rides to see some of the sites which can’t otherwise be reached including the beautiful Blue Lagoon.
Thrill-seeking children love the island’s waterparks. Fassouri Watermania in Limassol and Waterworld Waterpark in Famagusta enjoy exciting water attractions which keep children of all ages happy. Visitors also enjoy the Aphrodite Waterpark.
Ocean Aquarium is home to more than 1000 species such as piranhas, stingrays, turtles, crocodiles and penguins. It is a great day out in beautiful 12500 sqm of tropical gardens.
There are plenty of fairytale castles including St Hilarion Castle on the north coast where Walt Disney apparently drew inspiration for his castle in Snow White. Buffavento Castle enjoys sensational views and is reached by a hilly hike, great for young ones. The magical Kantara Castle on the Karpas Peninsula boasts pretty turrets, plentiful towers and lots of lookouts.
Paphos is fabulous for family entertainment. It offers boat trips from the marina, parks, restaurants, cafes and much more. The Jolly Roger Pirates Cruise is a four hour cruise where visitors enjoy beautiful sea views while pirates roam the ships and put on an acrobatics show. Another must is a spine-tingling trip to the Tomb of the Kings. The popular Luna Park boasts a small funfair with ferris wheels and carousels.
