Villa Inka is located in the village of Milna, on the Island Brac in a serene location with views of the sea, which is a mere ten-minute walk from the property. The pebbled beach gives way to wonderfully warm and clear water lending many wonderful opportunities to swim, snorkel and enjoy looking at the underwater world.

You’re in close proximity to a minimarket, bakery, and restaurant and a short drive to shops, pharmacies and many more restaurants as you enter the centre of Milna.

Milna itself is a traditional Mediterranean fishing village – a wander around will make you feel you’ve travelled back in time to the peace and ease of a gentler age. Here, life is slow and calm making it the perfect getaway from our hectic modern world. Star attractions are the harbour and marina, with stretches of sand either side as well as pebble beaches including Vlaska Cove. During the summer months, catamarans frequently travel from Split to Milna and then on to the island of Hvar and the walled city of Dubrovnik. You may also wish to arrange a private boat which can take you from Split to Milna.

Although the area itself is humble and peaceful, there’s a tremendous amount to do if you’re looking for a more active holiday. As you might expect, a lot of activities are centred around water, with options like sea kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling and kite-boarding. The Adriatic Sea is striking and there are many ways to become more acquainted with it. One of the best ways to feel the flow of the area is to explore it beneath the water. Boat rentals are also popular so that you can travel along the west coast of the island of Brac. You’ll be able to explore the Dalmatian archipelago.

There’s also opportunities to dive into traditional Island life. You may wish to visit the old town of Donji Humac, where you can take a workshop to learn how to process stone. The oldest part of the island is known as Skrip, and here you can see how oil olive was traditionally made, while also enjoying a taste. The surrounding views are truly something, and include sights of Vidova Gora, Bol and the many islands of the area.

The south coast of Brac Island is intriguing. From here, you can easily book a day trip to Hvar Island, with its history and fine-dining experiences. Brac itself is home to many a hike or bike trail, some of the more popular trails take you from Golden Horn in Bol, to Vidova Gora, Murvica to the fascinatingly named Dragon’s Cave. If you enjoy mountain biking or cycling, Brac is a great place to indulge your passion.

If you wish to explore Croatia’s second most popular city of Split, there are several options, including a catamaran or combined drive to Supetar, and then a ferry. In total it’s about an hour and a half journey. Split itself is a fascinatingly historic city and offers everything you might expect. As a UNESCO world heritage site, it’s an absolute must-see whilst in the area.

Brač is an island where the past and present seamlessly intertwine, and the beauty of the landscape is as enticing as its history is enthralling.

Located on the north coast of Brač, and connecting it to the mainland, is the port town of Supetar. It provides a warm welcome to the island, offering an array of cosy cafes serving up strong Croatian coffee and freshly baked pastries. The town’s palm-fringed promenade is a delightful spot for a stroll, and the Romanesque architecture and historic churches are testaments to its enduring history.

Just 40 minutes away, on the south coast of the island, is the idyllic town of Bol, renowned for its beautiful beaches. Often listed as one of the prettiest towns in Europe, Pučišća is a small coastal town with a big personality, known for its white limestone and beautiful bay. As you wander through the town's enchanting streets, you'll encounter architectural gems built from the island's famous white stone that has been used in iconic structures worldwide, including the White House in Washington, D.C.

For the nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, Brač offers an array of adventures. From windsurfing and scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters, to hiking the island's trails and cycling through the picturesque countryside, there's no shortage of activities to keep you engaged. It's an island that will leave you with lasting memories, longing to return to its irresistible allure.

  • We will be returning!

    on 17/11/2023

This phenomenal villa is in a beautiful, secluded setting. The host was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay perfect. Everything in the villa is of the highest quality and anything you could possibly need was thought of. The villa design is contemporary and stylish. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is relaxing. The entire villa and outdoor areas were so clean that it looked brand new. The local town is unspoilt and has everything a tourist could need without being surrounded by lots of other tourists. The locals are both friendly and welcoming. The island itself is stunning but it is easy to travel between islands or mainland Villa Inka was the perfect base fir our family holiday. We will be returning!

  • Perfect

    on 17/11/2023

We absolutely loved our time on Brac and the villa was the perfect setting for us to explore the island and enjoy the restaurants and bars in the nearby marina. Mislav the owner was extremely helpful and was on hand whenever we needed advice or assistance. Thanks for making our holiday a wonderful experience. Jason, Jo, Aimee and Sophia from Guernsey.

  • Wonderful

    on 17/11/2023

What a wonderful week at Villa Inka in Milna, Brac. The villa was very luxurious, modern, and spacious, and was perfect for our 2 families. Everything felt brand new. The swimming pool was very nice with views down to the sea in Milna. Mislav, the owner, was very helpful and gave us lots of wonderful recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. He went out of his way to be the perfect host. Milna is a pretty place with plenty of good restaurants and is a great base to explore Brac and the other nearby islands. Getting out on a boat is a must. It was out first trip to Croatia, and it definitely won’t be our last!

  • Loved it!

    on 04/09/2023

Excellent linen. Very well equipped kitchen. BBQ had charcoal provided. Beautifully presented rooms. Electronic blinds. Lovley pool. Very helpful owner, very prompt with responses. Location convenient for the whole island….loved it.

  • Would absolutely recommend

    on 14/07/2023

We rented Villa Inka for a week in July 2023. It is a very nice and modern building with an amazing outdoor area – an exclusive feel all around. The host (Mislav) is very nice and accommodating gentleman – no fuss and no problems. The place was very clean and nice. The biggest bonus, Mislav introduced us to the neighbours who made a very nice ‘pekka’ – the best meal of the trip! Would absolutely recommend Villa Inka! (We were 2 families of 4 and a mother-in-law).
