Known as the ‘Isle of Spice’, the island of Grenada is the perfect place to enjoy a tranquil holiday experience away from the crowds, with a treasure trove of cultural and coastal gems to explore.
With the crystalline waters and soft white sands of two serene beaches on your doorstep, as well as water sports facilities including paddle boards, sea kayaks and snorkelling gear available at the resort, you may find yourself tempted to spend every sunny afternoon very close to home! For a thrilling family day out, drive inland for roughly forty minutes to reach the incredible Grenada High Wire, located five minutes away from the entrance to Grand Etang National Park. Here, a sunny afternoon of ziplining and rainforest adventure awaits! There is a range of fun and friendly eco-activities available, with options to suit a variety of age groups. With knowledgeable and experienced instructors to guide you along the way, you will cross suspension bridges and rope obstacles whilst ziplining your way above the treetops. Not for the faint-hearted, this exhilarating course ranges in intensity, with zip lines throughout the rainforest at various heights and lengths.
The hiking and trekking trails of Grand Etang National Park are a great way to get closer to nature, this time with your feet planted firmly on the ground! Make your way through the lush rainforest to Grand Etang Lake for a scenic hike that everyone will remember, with exotic plants and wildlife to be spotted along the way. Later on, you can drive to the stunning sights of the Annandale Falls, where everyone will be mesmerised by the flow of cascading waters and the spectacular natural beauty of the forest.
