Super charming
Martin's cottage was a treasure. The location is idyllic and quiet; beautiful walking is just outside the door. The house is exactly as pictured, comfortable, and super charming. The backyard garden is more lovely than anticipated. The cottage served as our base for 4 days in the Cotswolds. We loved it.

Charming cottage & great location! We loved the local walks, surrounded by horses and sheep. The Thames Head Inn was a lovely pub just up the street & we love exploring surrounding villages. Definitely recommend!

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.
An absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely, quiet, rural location. The cottage was even better than we could have imagined - it was gorgeous and cosy and full of attention to detail which made it feel like home. The fireplace made it toasty and everything was spotless. The bathroom was heavenly. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Peaceful and amazing!
We had an amazing stay at Daffodil Cottage. The location is stunning and it's the most peaceful place we've visited so far in the UK. The garden is absolutely surreal and its so quiet you could hear a pin drop! We had the most amazing stay and we hope to be able to visit again!

Outstanding
Amazing! Romantic! Magical! Heaven! Just book. The cottage and location are outstanding. We loved the backgammon set and played each evening in front of the fire or sat in the garden. (Lovely garden and garden furniture)

Lovely
Quintessentially English!! A lovely thatched cottage in a 'get a way from it all' atmosphere.

Lovely
The cottage is beautiful. Has a lovely old feel but the way it’s been refurbished makes it feel new as well. Was lovely and warm. Couldn’t fault anything about it in any way. The owner Martin was a great host.

Beautiful
We would highly recommend Daffodil Cottage. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures. We were staying for 2 nights on the way down to Cornwall for our honeymoon and it was the perfect romantic stop off on the way.
-
A dream...
Perfect postcard cottage located just minutes from Cirencester centre. The place was a dream and was a perfect place to relax, unwind and forget about reality. We went with out 5 month old and dog and loved every second. We will be sure to visit again!

We can't wait to visit again!
A beautiful, idyllic cottage. The perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The cottage is ideally located to several places of interest and award winning eateries. The garden is absolutely beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. We loved the little touches waiting for us on arrival, the local produce basket, logs and kindling for the open fire and the most stunning roll top Bath. We can’t wait to visit again!

A wonderful place to stay
The cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Lovingly cared for and thoughtfully decorated. The owners brought out the perfection of this perfect home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend to anyone who wants to know what it is like to experience the cotswolds for which it is famous. Just use the postal code for the cottage and you will arrive to make your own special memories.

Ideal place for relaxation.
If you’re looking for relaxation and peace then this is the ideal place to stay. The cottage is compact but has everything you need. It is full of character with exposed beams and a wood burner and it’s comfortably and stylishly furnished. There are some great walks nearby and the local pub serves delicious food. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quite country break.

Magical stay!
We had an absolutely magical stay at this beautiful cottage and fell in love with the Cotswolds in the short time we were here. The cottage was very cosy and luxurious, we loved having breakfast in the garden seating area and having the log burner on during the evenings. This is a very special property and we will definitely be back! Thank you for making our stay so welcoming

A hub to explore the Cotswolds
We stayed at Daffodil Cottage for 2 nights towards the end of October 2017. We were looking for a cosy cottage with a log burner which we could use as a hub to explore the Cotswolds. And that is exactly what we found at Daffodil Cottage.
The cottage itself has been beautifully restored without losing its charm. The owner Martin provided us with very clear instructions and a very helpful guide to allow us to explore the area. The cottage was very clean and tidy throughout. And is also well equipped should you wish to cook the odd meal at home but we found the local pubs and restaurants a lovely treat. The Tunnel House Inn is a short walk from the cottage but you would need a car to explore beyond that.
We hope to return to the cottage in the Summer so we can enjoy the beautiful gardens. October weather was a little too cold for that! We would definitely recommend Daffodil Cottage to friends and family looking for a country break. -
Quaint!
The cottage was quaint, amazing, private & peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Very friendly neighbours.

Truly beautiful
I would like to take this opportunity to say how truly beautiful the cottage is, with the thatched roof and exquisite surroundings.
In just the short time we were in Tarlton, we were able to relax and take in the fresh air, pop into Cirencester and sink a couple of pints at the Tunnel House Inn (and wander back across the fields at dusk).
Finally, the one thing with which we struggled with was the bluntness of the knives (we ended up purchasing a cheap knife and board which we left there, and hope will prove useful to others) Given the style and class of the cottage, may I respectfully suggest either a steel or a whetstone might be a suitable addition to the kitchen.
That aside, it was a real pleasure to be able to stay in such a beautiful cottage, in such peaceful surroundings and my thanks and congratulations to you and Oliver's Travels on such a wonderful abode.
