Open plan living kitchen dining room, never get bored there, sitting cooking or eating

For anyone coming to stay is there anything in the surrounding area they should...
Really do?  So many things to do and see, obviously the Tate St Ives, Barbara Heprowth Museum & Garden any one of the 5 beaches in St Ives and or Carbis Bay beach, our favourite is Port Kidney Sands near Lelant, 30 mins walk along the coast path or a few minutes drive from Cedar Lodge.
Really eat? One of our favourite places to eat is Porthminster Beach cafe or the Halsetown Inn that have fantastic lunch specials

What insider tip would you pass on about the property or the area?
St Ives and surrounding area is well known for its very beautiful town and idyllic setting, but we recommend taking the coast path to villages like Zennor or Lelant and a wonderful walk from Lelant to Marazion, is the St Michaels Walk, the old pilgrim route ending at St Michaels Mount, in itself worth a day on its own to explore

  • St Ives Cottage is ideally located

A quiet spot but a 15 minute walk to the beach (or the pub). The house was spotlessly clean, well appointed throughout. The living areas are airy with plenty of space. The view from the lounge is amazing. Very comfortable furnishings, big comfy beds too. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at St Ives Cottage.

A beautiful house with the most stunning views of Carbis Bay. The house is very well set out for a large family and we’d definitely go back.

The house was a fantastic place to spend a week over the new year period.
Great location and a very well presented house.

  • Lovely house!

This is a lovely house with great amenities and outstanding views over the sea. The house is not isolated - there are neighbours close by either side, but this was not a problem...

Comfortable, clean and in an ideal location. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough for us to enjoy the lovely outside seating and BBQ.

  • Exceeded all expectations

    on 23/07/2019

This particular property exceeded all expectations by a long shot.
We have been coming to St Ives Cottage for several years stopping in various houses/cottages and this property was by far the best yet, admittedly slightly more expensive than our usual properties but certainly worth every penny.
