An old-time colonial house made entirely of driftwood, this villa evokes a sense of romance through its elegant interiors and irresistible atmosphere. Wooden walkways weave through three floors, detailed with have carvings and leaf features. Floor to ceiling windows with pool and garden views open out to let a tropical breeze flow around the property.
Five bedrooms - two identical master bedrooms and three guest rooms - are decorated in shades of coffee and cream. Understated yet classy, the bedrooms all have four-poster king size beds dressed in fine linen and delicate canopies. The luxurious ensuite bathrooms are decorated in muted grey and feature a rain shower and freestanding stone tub. Ornate wood accessories and patterned heritage textiles finish off the rooms beautifully.
A truly special feature of this villa is the intricate temple in the midst of the garden, complete with a spiritual statue. Great for a quiet moment of peace or some meditation, the temple is surrounded by a serene pond and adds a signature Balinese touch to the villa. A wooden terrace borders a refreshing private pool, complete with sundeck and a manicured lawn. Take a cooling swim in the jade green water, then relax with a good book and soak up the sun.
Inside, the airy living room blends fresh cream sofas and fluttering curtains with a motif of sea green, wooden details and a stunning, sleek marble counter. It's a great space to socialise and play games together - there's a flat screen television for everyone to gather and watch a movie together.
If you're in the mood for an invigorating Balinese massage, skilled therapists can come to the villa and provide a comprehensive range of spa therapies. Villa Indrani prides itself on its professional and amiable staff - there is a team of butlers to take care of all your needs and the highly trained private chef can whip up a delicious Indonesian or Western feast on request.
What you should know…
- This villa can only be rented at the 4 (8 people) or 5 bedroom (10 people) capacity. Please see rates for more information.
- Extra beds are available for an additional charge.
- Chef is included but please note that grocery cost is charged a 20% handling fee, subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate.
- A car and driver can be arranged for eight hours each day for a reasonable rate.
- Families with curious little ones should be careful around the natural stone. feature wall as some edges might be rough on delicate skin.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa IndraniPerfectly placed within walking distance to Berawa and Canggu, the villa is close to an unspoilt part of picturesque Berawa beach, dotted with fishing huts and colourful outriggers awaiting night fishing. Nearby is the largest natural lagoon in Canggu - cross the rickety wooden bridge to reach the gorgeous crystalline waters.
Berawa beach has an irresistible laid back atmosphere - it's great for those who love surfing as there are some challenging breaks along with the long beach break. With striking black volcanic sand and panoramic views of the Indian ocean, Berawa is particularly lovely at sunset. Locals and tourists gather at the beach clubs to watch the sky light on fire from the comfort of a bean bag.
One of the best local attractions is Finn's Recreation Club. Boasting a water park with thrilling slides popular with kids and adults alike, a state of the art gym, blissful spa, vast tennis court and boxing arena, there's something for everyone here. Finn's also has a beautiful beach club in a gorgeous bamboo building on Berawa Beach. Whatever you choose to do there, it's bound to be a memorable day out for the whole family!
Canggu is surrounded by evergreen rice paddies that stretch as far as the eye can see. A great way to experience the lush landscape is by bicycle - take a trip down the Shortcut, which is a beautiful path through the plantations. Just be careful when you move to the side to let others pass, or you might end up in the locals' book of falls!
The villa is just a few kilometres north of Seminyak, Bali's premiere upscale beach resort. A playground for jet-setters, fashionistas and yogis, it's full of fashionable boutiques where you can shop til you drop. Seminyak has an excellent nightlife, atmospheric cocktail huts and superb sundowners at beach clubs.
You'll be spoilt for choice when you stop for a snack in Canggu or Seminyak. Pick up some local treats from a warung, or take your pick of the wildly popular array of quirky cafes. Healthy smoothie bowls are available in abundance, as are world-class menus of international fare.
Bali is known as the 'Island of the Gods' and is home to countless enchanting temples. Magical Pura Petitenget embodies Balinese spirituality and is a significant link in the series of temples along Bali's west coast between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot. The temple has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays.
Bali Equestrian Centre is a must for horse lovers, whether you're a keen rider or want a taster riding lesson. If you've ever dreamed of cantering across powdery sand at sunset or visiting local villages fringed with evergreen rice terraces, this world-class centre has got you covered.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesA holiday in Bali is a superb choice for children, as the scenery is breathtaking, the food is delicious and locals love interacting with kids. The staff at this villa are well versed in hosting children, and the house itself is a place for kids to hang out - they'll love splashing around in the pool and relaxing on the sundeck.
Finn's Recreation Club is a fantastic day out for children of all ages - there's an enormous array of activities they can get stuck into and learn a new skill. There's a dedicated Kids Club and Junior Sports Academy and the immensely popular Bounce Trampoline park. Plus, if they haven't had enough fun splashing around at the villa, the water park has enough slides to keep them entertained all day.
The Bali Equestrian Centre is also excellent for a day out for children of all riding abilities. Children can take lessons or go for a pony ride through the Canggu countryside. The instructors are well versed in teaching children - they're bound to fall in love with riding.
Kids will love the novelty of strolling along a black sand beach and building sandcastles. While Berawa Beach is a family-friendly place for kids to be, it's not a great place for swimming as the waves can be rough. Mini surfers can take lessons from one of the surf schools dotted around Canggu or Seminyak - watch them fall in love with catching waves and enjoy the relaxed surfer vibe.
Bali Treetop Adventure Park in Bedugal, close to Lake Bratan is an ideal day trip for those with little ones in tow. An adrenaline-fuelled park with five adventure circuits, the heights vary from 2m to 20m. Kids will love flying through the trees on the Tarzan jumps and soaring along 12 exhilarating flying fox ziplines.
Parents will be glad to know that baby cots, high chairs and monitors are available at the villa, with further equipment available on request.

Nyepi Religious Day
Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on below dates. The Nyepi (Silent) Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island and it starts at 6 AM that day and finishes 6 AM the following day. No outdoor activities are allowed and there will be no check-in and check-out from properties on 7 March 2019, 25 March 2020, and 14 March 2021.
