The Sarojin Resort: Overview

The Sarojin invites guests to enjoy the resort’s full range of facilities, as well as the surrounding areas of natural beauty, through tailor-made excursions. Try snorkelling trips aboard the Lady Sarojin boat, sunset cruises and private charters; mangrove or sea cave canoeing, bamboo or white water rafting; tubing the local rivers, deep sea or lagoon fishing; jungle treks and mountain bike trails; rock climbing; hot springs; bird and wildlife watching; temple visits; glimpses of local life, and shopping.

Surrounded by five national parks, dive sites of the Similan and Surin Islands, and Phang Nga Bay, the resort offers year-round swimming and water sports. Three golf courses are within 20 minutes to an hour away. Private airport transfers with wi-fi, refreshments, and cold towels are available.

With fresh ingredients, talented chefs, and extraordinary dining locations, every meal at The Sarojin can be a special occasion. All dishes can be tailor-made to your dietary requirements – vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, and more. Dine under the age-old Ficus tree, beside the shimmering Andaman Sea, or in an intimate and private setting of your choice. Enjoy tropical fruits bursting with flavour, seafood fresh from the Andaman, herbs from The Sarojin gardens and a range of fine wine pairings. All-day a la carte breakfast is served daily until 6pm. complete with sparkling wine.

Edge: Breezy, rustic and chic, the Edge lives up to its name with its gorgeous beach and sea views. Dine under the open air timber pavilion or on the sand under the shade of the surrounding trees. Enjoy Thai and South East Asian cuisines.

Beach Bar: The stylish beach bar offers spectacular views across the idyllic white sands and Andaman Sea. Tropical-inspired loungers, comfy sofas, sumptuous beanbags, and chilled out music make this the perfect spot for sipping on a chilled cocktail or relaxing at lunch or dinner. Tempting offerings include seafood baskets to share, local tapas, and Thai delicacies.

Ficus: Refined, relaxed, and set in the spiritual heart of The Sarojin, the Ficus restaurant is nestled under the hanging roots and canopy of the ancient Ficus tree, beside the magnificent Lotus Pond. Enjoy contemporary Mediterranean cuisine here.

Ficus Bar & Cellar: Contemporary, chic, and tucked away under the ancient ficus tree. The award-winning wine cellar stocks 200 wines from around the world, with 20 wines and champagnes are served by the glass. Enjoy a range of light bites and tapas to pair with your wine.

Private Dining: The Sarojin offers ‘just for two’ romantic private dinners, in the setting of your choice; within the privacy of your villa, on the secluded private beach, or by a candlelit jungle waterfall.

Culinary Evenings: The resort hosts weekly curated culinary evenings, set among the gardens or on the beach, showcasing cooking demonstrations and tailor-made menus. With a la carte table service and wine pairings, guests can sample an array of Thai and Mediterranean cuisines.

The Sarojin has been awarded Two Keys by the MICHELIN Guide as “an exceptional stay”. This distinction is part of the MICHELIN Guide’s newly introduced hotel Keys recognition system; a prestigious accolade awarded to hotels and resorts for the overall experience they offer guests.

It’s also possible to book exclusive-use of the entire resort for larger events and celebrations.

Sustainability & Community

Established in December 2004, The Sarojin Khao Lak Community Fund has supported various projects, including child care, school construction, road and street lighting, animal welfare, landscape regeneration, and restoring the local fishing fleet.

The Sarojin’s “One Booking One Tree” initiative, launched in 2022, aims to restore Khao Lak’s coastal ecosystems by planting one tree per booking. In partnership with local organisations, over 24,200 trees have been planted to date.

The Sarojin has eliminated plastic water bottles and single-use plastics, installed an on-site bottling plant and provides all guests with complimentary reusable water bottles.

The Sarojin operates ‘Sarojin Cares’ initiatives to support the local community, reduce energy and water consumption, minimise plastic usage and waste, and decrease carbon footprint.
