Personal Training

Keemala offers customised one-on-one, or small group fitness instruction. Instructors will analyse health history, fitness goals, and current lifestyle to formulate a comprehensive exercise programme for each guest’s specific needs. The first personal training session includes a body composition measurement and fitness evaluation.

Keemala are happy to welcome guests of all ages, however due to the natural design of the villas and the surrounding landscape – as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere – Keemala do not describe themselves as a ‘child-friendly’ resort. They do not have a kids’ club, kids’ pool or any children’s activities available on-site.

Keemala do accept children, on the provision that they will be accompanied by two adults. Children staying are the responsibility of their parents from a health and safety aspect, and to ensure that the adult atmosphere for all guests inside the resort is not affected. Please note that not all of the villas are suitable for children.

Wherever possible, Keemala are seeking to lessen their carbon footprint through a number of practices, including:

• Every villa has its own water treatment system.
• Waste and rubbish is classified and treated efficiently including recycling and other methods.
• In an effort to reduce plastic waste, only glass-bottled water is provided in the villas, paper straws are used instead of plastic straws, and packaging for toiletries are made of cloth materials and recycled paper.
• The design has been carefully considered to protect existing ecosystem. Contours, soil, trees and natural water resources are kept either in their original form or have been utilised with minimal change.
• Guest amenities and spa products used are 100% natural, paraben-free and not tested on animals.
• Through Keemala’s ‘Anti-Animal Exploitation Policy’, guests are encouraged to visit and engage in tourism activities that do not use animals for entertainment, but rather experience ethical animal tourism and cultural tourism experiences on offer in Phuket.
