This charming villa nestles in the hillside of Torre Soli, overlooking picturesque countryside and the beautiful stretch of Son Bou coastline. Boasting modern finishes, this 6 person, 3 bedroom property, split over two floors, is the perfect haven for a family or group of friends looking for a tranquil space to enjoy the perfect holiday.

As you arrive at the villa, with parking conveniently outside the welcoming exterior, you will enter onto the ground floor. Here you’ll find a homely open plan living area adjoined to a well-equipped kitchen; ideal for relaxing or entertaining, with comfortable furnishings, and stylish dining area seating 6, on which to enjoy those long leisurely evenings. You’ll appreciate fantastic views through the French doors onto the outdoor terrace, watching the sun dance across the surface of the sumptuous outdoor pool.

On the first floor of the property you’ll discover the impressive master suite. In a deluxe mix of modern and traditional Menorcan décor, this impressive space comprises of a king size bed, dressing room, beautiful en suite bathroom with relaxing spa bath and private terrace on which to enjoy the magnificent views.  Next door to the master are two further spacious double bedrooms in contemporary décor, one with en suite. There is also a separate bathroom with hydromassage shower, to unwind under after a stressful day reclining on the beach!

The outside terrace area is the ultimate space in which to while away a balmy Menorcan afternoon in luxury. Through the French doors from the living area you’ll find a comfortable shaded seated area, where you’ll love to sink back and enjoy an afternoon aperitif, surrounded by native flowers and lawn. There is also a chic dining area to appreciate some al fresco banqueting under the night sky. But the pièce de résistance is certainly the 40sq metre swimming pool; the cool tranquil waters a perfect antidote to a hot Summer’s day. There is also a Jacuzzi integrated into its design, so why not jump in, enjoy the bubbles, with a glass of your very own bubbly! To dry off simply recline into one of the many sun loungers and relax.

What you should know…

  • While Son Bou is reachable on foot - it is quite a walk and so we recommend driving down especially if you are travelling with children!
  • Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor which may be less ideal for those travelling with small children
  • Wi-Fi is available at this property however please note that the Wi-Fi in Son Bou can be unreliable at times.

Just 30 minutes from Menorca’s Airport and half way along the South coast, Son Bou is the perfect base to explore this magical Island. Visit Menorca’s charming capital Mahon, and its former capital Cuitadella with its medieval streets and gothic architecture, in only a 30-minute drive.  In a five minute drive you can find yourselves ambling down the picturesque streets of the small bustling market town of Alaior with its whitewashed buildings and its crowning glory the beautiful Santa Eulalia Church. And for all history lovers, the prehistoric village of Torre d'en Gaumes, one of the largest Talayotic settlements on Menorca, is only a 10 minute drive from Son Bou.

Torre Soli is a quiet hillside area, just minutes from the resort of Son Bou. Built with family holidays at its forefront, Son Bou resides behind a beautiful nature reserve, along a pristine beach, with an abundance of facilities on its doorstep. The town comprises of well-stocked supermarkets, a pharmacy, boutique, craft and designer shops, an array of restaurants, and a nightclub. Together with its proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca, the location ensures you won’t ever be far from what you need.

With over 3km of fine golden sand, this resort has so much to offer the perfect beach holiday. Populated by several beach bars, with water sports options ranging from pedalos to water skiing, and sun beds and umbrellas at your fingertips, long lazy days or active afternoons are a must.  And with sumptuous sand dunes rather than high-rise hotel blocks serving as a backdrop, you’ll have stunning views for company. Just a warning that the beach is often frequented by Naturists, so if public nudity is not for you, you may want to avert your eyes!

For more water-based based entertainment, San Jaime, a 5 minute's walk from Son Bou offers the well-recommended Sant Jaime Club – hosting a restaurant, large swimming pool, paddling pool for younger children, and a water slide. There is also an indoor amusement area and late club night offering live music and entertainment for the big kids amongst you!

THE REGION

The resort of Son Bou in the municipality of Alaior, on the south coast of Menorca, is renowned for having the biggest and probably best beach on the island. The resort is located around 20 kilometres from the international airport at Mahon.

Son Bou is a well-developed area containing many restaurants offering a good range of British, Indian, Chinese and Mediterranean dishes, as well as numerous bars, some of which are themed to help entertain young ones.

While the resort is very popular for families, the sheer size of the beach makes it easy for those who prefer to avoid the little ones to find their ideal spots! There is an abundance of natural sand dunes that make a very pleasant backdrop.

Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price. Bed linen and towels will be changed once a week for stays of 7 nights or longer.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes, included in rental price. Cleaning of the property twice per week is included in the rental price. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit
