- At the rear of the house is a large, enclosed courtyard with privacy from surrounding buildings and pleasantly surprising peacefulness for a town house in a city setting. Here there are areas for dining, sunbathing, and swimming.
- The dining area has a round table, seating eight guests, although the kitchen doors open out to provide additional tables and seating.

- A small flight of stairs to a further sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols.
