The living room hosts an off-beat seating arrangement, equipped with a soft brown fabric and an unusual structure. Thus, this is a great place for guests to recharge their batteries and truly appreciate the wealth of ornate furnishings that help to accentuate the entire property. Travelling over to the dining area, this space includes a vast stone-cladded accent wall as well as a simple wooden table and chairs. In turn, guests are encouraged to use this space to its fullest potential, enjoying a collection of amazing meals as well as some quality time together as a group. The kitchen within this property is surprisingly modern, presenting a wide selection of pure white cupboards and surfaces. These design choices allow guests to prepare and serve an assortment of dishes all within one cohesive environment. This floor is also home to the first bedroom, which includes a pair of single beds. Therefore, this space is perfect for two small children or for a couple who prefers to sleep apart.
 
Travelling up to the second floor, this is where you’ll find an additional three bedrooms. All of these rooms are equipped with considerable double beds to ensure that guests can revel in a tranquil night’s sleep throughout the duration of their stay.
 
The remaining two bedrooms can be found on the third floor, making them ideal for guests who would rather be detached from the rest of the group.

This wonderfully restored 17th-century farmhouse is nestled amongst some of the area’s most scenic surroundings, while also being a short hop from the lovely sweeping bay of Port de Sóller. The villa is situated in a large private estate accessed by electric gates and surrounded by the lush green hillsides of Sóller – part of the heritage protected Tramuntana Sierra.

Villa Hereu is based just 10 minutes away from the centre of Soller, giving guests a chance to explore a plethora of tourist hotspots and hidden gems with ease. If you wish to see a truly iconic monument during your time in this area, you must visit Parroquia de Sant Bartomeu de Soller. This monumental church is best known for presenting a wealth of architectural motifs, all within the confines of one building. The exterior boasts a classic Neo-Gothic style, whereas the interior showcases a unique blend of Medieval, Gothic, Baroque, and Modern stylings. As a result, this is an ideal attraction to visit if you want to immerse yourself in both the history and beauty of Soller. Parroquia de Sant Bartomeu de Soller is situated just a stone’s throw away from the villa.
 
Since this region is encircled by a plethora of crystal-clear water, guests are highly encouraged to embark on a thrilling scuba diving excursion. Octopus Mallorca is a prized driving school that is often commended for its wide use of specialist equipment and exceptional safety precautions. As such, guests will have access to everything they would need to enjoy a safe and thought-provoking dive. Once you are fully submerged underwater, you will come across a wealth of beautiful marine wildlife, including seahorses and jellyfish, making this a truly unforgettable experience. Torre Picada is another remarkable landmark within this region and can be found around 15 minutes away from the villa. This looming monument was used extensively up until the 19th century as a way to assess the number of illegal goods entering the region as well as to monitor the direction of planes during the Spanish Civil War. In order to reach this tower, guests will travel up a very steep hill and follow along a very steep cart track. Once at the top of the tower, you will be inundated with vast views of the entire region and its opulent surrounding areas.

THE REGION

The remote Port de Sóller in northwest Mallorca is a picturesque, small coastal village which has become well known and popular, particularly due to its historic tram, large bay with a protected harbour and scenic surroundings.

Can Prunera is based inside a decadent manor house and gives children a chance to explore a wealth of art from some of the most prolific artists of the 20th century. As soon as you step inside, you will be taken aback by the vast number of Modernist pieces that this gallery holds, ensuring that guests can gain a firm understanding of the importance of this movement. Travelling down to the basement level of this museum, you will come across an authentic contemporary kitchen, complete with dated furnishings and appliances. Thus, this is a great learning experience for children as it gives them a better understanding of the recent past. Can Prunera is situated just a few minutes away from the villa.
 
If you are looking to uncover the nuances surrounding two of the world’s most famous artists, a trip to Sala Picasso and Sala Miro is a must-do. These immense exhibitions are located inside Soller’s local train station, which is based just under 5 minutes away from Villa Hereu. Take your time during this experience, ensuring that you examine each alluring piece in full detail. You will also have the privilege of observing over 50 ceramics, all of which were created by Picasso from 1948 to 1971.
