Begur’s bars and restaurants provide the perfect introduction to Catalonian cuisine, with several clustered around the village’s main square. In addition to many hearty fish and seafood dishes, you should also have no trouble finding some local wine to try. The area is full of vineyards.
Secluded Sa Tuna beach and those of nearby Llafranc and Tamariu are all worth a visit, with the botanical gardens of Cap Roig just a little further down the coast.
