An opulent and luxurious villa found in the peaceful region of Begur, Can Creu is a property that manages to take modernity and style to the next level. The exterior of this property is home to the expansive swimming pool that can host many guests at once. This pool is the ideal place to take in the serenity of the sea views after a long day. The large pool is surrounded by a sleek decking area that has room for a collection of sun loungers. In addition, there is also a barbecue area so guests can enjoy unique outdoor dining experiences whenever they like.
Can Creu is a widespread property that is distrusted over multiple levels. The lower level of this villa contains four bedrooms, making it easy for guests to travel between rooms. All four bedrooms contain spacious double beds, fitted with ample bedspreads for a perfect night’s sleep. These rooms also include a pair of vast glass doors that offer awe-inspiring views of the landscape as you awake each morning. These doors also allow access to the outdoor terrace area. Not to mention, two of these bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms for that added sense of indulgence.
Moving on to the main floor, this is where you will find the lounge/dining area. The lounge area is decorated with bright white walls, which effortlessly accentuate the quirky and unconventional furnishings found throughout the room. The dining area is a suitable communal place, using a sleek wooden table that is accompanied by an unusual set of white rattan chairs. The kitchen at Can Creu is a true gem. Decorated with a striking black kitchen island and silver and white cupboards, this is a very attractive space for enjoying delicious evening meals.
Finally, the top-level of this villa contains another large double bedroom. This bedroom contains a large closet that can be transformed into a bunk bed, bringing the room’s capacity up to four people. Overall, Can Creu has the ability to host up to 10 guests, making this the perfect property for large families or groups. Additionally, the very top floor is home to a magnificent private solarium terrace, which truly amplifies a sense of richness throughout the whole property.

About the surrounding area of Can CreuCan Creu is the perfect property if you are looking to be close to a wide range of amenities as it is just 1km away from the town centre of Begur. Here, you will find a collection of unique bars, restaurants, and shopping districts, meaning there is something for everyone to enjoy. Costa Brava is most known for its bustling wine industry, and guests are encouraged to partake in a tour of one of the town’s independent wineries. Mas Molla was first established in 1338 and is less than 30-minutes away from the centre of Begur. This historic winery takes guests on an immersive journey through their glorious vineyard and down to their cellar to give them an in-depth guide on their production process. The tour lasts for around 90-minutes and ends with guests having the opportunity to taste three of their natural wines. Tickets for these tours are very reasonable, with adult tickets costing just €10, and children can enter for free.
This villa is just 3km away from the incredible Sa Tuna beach. This popular landmark offers tourists the chance to sit on the gravel beach and simply watch the crystal clear waters ebb and flow before them. Although this beach is quite small, there are a plethora of facilities available, including a set of public toilets and a car park. Furthermore, there is also a wide range of watersport activities available at this beach. As such, guests can complete a scuba diving course or even a sailing trip right on the shores of this spectacular beach.
If you are looking to explore the fascinating history of this quaint Spanish town, then Begur Castle is an ideal attraction. This castle was first constructed in the 11th century by Lord Arnust of Begur and was declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest back in 2018. Begur Castle has survived three catastrophic events, and its ruins still stand in the same spot today. This attraction is free to enter, and special guided tours are delivered on a regular basis. Plus, this castle sits at the very top of a large hill, giving guests a spectacular panoramic view of the entire town.

Therefore, you must cross the collection of exhilarating bridges to complete this sensational adventure course. Prices are very reasonable for this type of experience. A standard adult ticket costs just €16 each, which includes all of the necessary training and equipment you would need to complete the course. Also, there is a selection of bars and seating areas available for guests who would rather just sit back and watch.
Begur is surrounded by a collection of stunning beaches, making this a suitable location for scuba diving. There are multiple diving schools located in this area, including Begur Dive, which is just over 10-minutes away from the centre of Begur. This school has been widely acclaimed by many tourists, praising the staff’s knowledgeable and professional personalities. Begur Dive offers a range of scuba diving courses suitable for all levels of experience. Try Scuba Diving is the school’s beginner course and lasts for two hours. During this time, guests will become aware of the basic elements of scuba diving and the equipment used to ensure a safe practice. Then, you will get the chance to explore the waters near the incredible Aiguablava beach. This particular course costs just €70 per guest but does not accept children under the age of 10.
If you are looking to partake in some new activities whilst on holiday, indoor skydiving is the perfect example. Windoor is a leading indoor skydiving centre found in Empuriabrava, which is under an hour’s drive away from Begur. This attraction allows guests to experience all of the heart-stopping elements of skydiving within an enclosed space. You will be paired with a qualified instructor as you feel the colossal gusts of wind that manage to keep you afloat. Tickets for this experience can be purchased in packages, saving you money overall. A three-person family ticket gives each member a 2-minute flight and costs just €139.
