Masia Mas Pigot is a handsome country retreat that feels as though it’s been part of the landscape for centuries. Tucked among rolling vineyards with distant views of Montserrat’s jagged silhouette, this 100-year-old masia has been lovingly restored into a bright, characterful home sleeping up to twenty-two guests across eight spacious bedrooms. As you step through the arched doorway, terracotta floors, whitewashed walls and rustic timber beams set a warm, authentic tone.

The main house features a grand dining room with a shimmering chandelier and space for up to seventeen guests, alongside a traditional-style kitchen with modern appliances. There’s a relaxed lounge upstairs with inviting sofas, and a day room for board games, books, or an extra dinner setting. The separate annex adds extra privacy, complete with its own lounge, fireplace and patio access.

Outside, life centres around the generous swimming pool with a retractable cover, ideal for sunny afternoons and starlit swims. The shaded dining terrace and large garden offer space for relaxed lunches, outdoor play and evening barbecues. Though it feels deliciously remote, you’re just five minutes from the heart of Penedès wine country, thirty minutes from Sitges, and under an hour from the buzz of Barcelona.

• The Masia sits off a private gravel road - while this ensures privacy, it may be uneven in places
• The annex bedrooms offer more privacy but are separate from the main living quarters, which may not suit very young children
• The pool is unfenced, meaning children will require supervision
