Sitges travel: Getting there and around

Visitors to Sitges typically fly into Barcelona Airport (BCN) which is 25 miles north of the town. Flights are roughly 2-3 hours from the UK and from there you can drive, or the R2 Nord line of the RENFE commuter train connects the airport to Sitges and MonBus operates a direct bus service (Line 1). The journey takes around 30-40 minutes by both train and bus.

By car

Sitges is well-connected by road, and driving is a convenient way to explore the town and its surroundings. There are several rental car agencies available in Sitges where you can hire a car and the main roads leading to and from Sitges are well-maintained, making it easy to access neighbouring towns and attractions.

By bus

Sitges has a reliable public transportation system, primarily consisting of buses and trains. The Renfe train service connects Sitges to Barcelona and other nearby towns. The journey to Barcelona takes around 30-40 minutes. The bus network in Sitges provides connections to neighbouring towns and attractions within the area.
