Inara Camp, Agafay Desert: Overview

Set on a sprawling 21-hectare stretch of desert near Marrakech, Inara Camp is a serene hideaway made for guests dreaming of a night under the stars. The camp features 19 beautifully appointed tents and suites, each offering a king-size bed, a cosy lounge area, and a private bathroom complete with hot shower and toilet; bringing all the comforts of a boutique stay to the heart of the dunes. There is also a private luxury villa located near the camp, which sleeps up to six guests.

When the sun’s high, guests can dip into one of two swimming pools to cool off, before settling in at the restaurant for delicious breakfasts, leisurely lunches, and atmospheric dinners. At Inara Camp, luxury and authenticity go hand in hand, with space, tranquillity, and privacy carefully preserved so every guest can savour the magic of the desert in their own way.

Inara Camp pairs desert serenity with plenty to do, whether you’re craving adventure or pure switch-off. Alongside 19 beautifully designed tents and suites with king-size beds, lounge spaces, and private bathrooms with hot showers, you’ll find two inviting swimming pools and an atmospheric restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Days here can be as laid-back or lively as you like: set out on a camel ride or gentle desert walk, pick up the pace with quad biking or buggy rides, explore on horseback or by desert bike, or head off on a 4×4 safari towards the Atlas Mountains. When evening falls, unwind with yoga or a spa treatment, then cap it all off with stargazing under the vast Agafay sky.

Restaurants & Bars

Le Soukoune offers an exceptional desert dining experience. With 10 private tents and butler service, you can enjoy lunch and dinner in a tranquil setting. Menus feature delicious Moroccan dishes and refreshing drinks.

La Rotonde is the camp’s central restaurant, seating up to 30 guests in a larger shared dining tent. Here, you will enjoy refined Moroccan gastronomy for lunch and dinner, paired with attentive service.

Swimming Pools

The Desert Lagoon

The Desert Lagoon pool offers breathtaking views of the desert overlooking the canyon, making it the perfect place to admire the views and soak up the sunset. The pool was built according to a bio-design model and is made of sand and quartz cast in a porous resin. This means the pool gives the impression of an oasis or beach, reinforced by its shape.

The Grand Pool

The stunning heated pool at Inara Camp offers the perfect escape amidst the vast, serene Agafay Desert. Surrounded by a spacious stone terrace, the pool is complemented by comfortable, vibrant lounge chairs, inviting guests to relax under the wooden pergolas that provide shade from the sun. The tranquil, expansive views of the desert create a truly unique atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself in the peacefulness of the surroundings while enjoying the luxurious comfort of the camp. Whether you take a refreshing dip or simply unwind by the water, the pool area is designed to offer a perfect balance of relaxation and natural beauty, making it an essential part of the Inara experience.

Fitness

Yoga: Start your day with a dynamic yoga session, perfect for awakening the body and mind. This 50-minute practice, led by an experienced instructor, is designed for all levels and focuses on energising movements. Minimum of 4 participants required.

Hiking: Join one of the camp’s expert guides for a guided discovery walk through the enchanting Agafay desert. This 1 to 2 hours hike, led by a professional guide, invites you to explore the stunning terrain while learning about the region’s rich ecology and history. Perfect for those seeking an active way to connect with the beauty of the desert, this experience requires a minimum of two participants.
