Magical
One word sums up my time spent at Casa Bolini - MAGICAL.
I stayed here in June 2023 for a week. The historic palazzo has been thoughtfully renovated with a mix old world Italian antique’s, modern furnishings, beautiful drapery and luxurious linens. The palazzo was spotless and very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to gather and watch the sunset while sipping local wine. The garden is a little oasis of beauty, a perfect place to relax with an espresso. The palazzo also has a state-of-art gym and sauna.
Every morning church bells rang, as I sat there and enjoying an espresso listening to them. It was just beautiful.
The palazzo is within a short walking distance to all of the wonderful restaurants, shops and sites the Orvieto has to offer.
We were lucky to be there during one of the most important holidays in Orvieto - the Corpus Domini (Corpus Christi). The procession passed right in front of the palazzo. This was such a treat to witness.
Arrigo and Ellen are superb hosts that have great restaurant suggestions, and ideas for local excursions which included hikes, winery tours and local historic points of interest. They make you feel right at home.
Can’t wait to visit again!

Highly recommended place to stay
Orvieto is a wonderful, historic village to visit with so much to see. We spent the better part of a week here and enjoyed every bit of it. The owners are super nice and very accommodating, the accommodations modern and comfortable, and you are walking distance to everything in town. Rome, Florance, and other attractions are not far.

Excellent!
We stayed at this luxury apartment for 3 days and highly recommend it! First, town of Orvieto is a hidden gem! It is a beautiful historic village located on a hilltop in central Italy. It was only 1.25-hour train ride from Rome. Once we arrived at the train station our Host picked us up by car. For the short drive up the hill to their beautiful Casa Bolini. The restaurants, shops and historic sites are all easy walk within 5 to 8 minutes of the Palazzo. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated with modern furnishing and all the luxury conveniences you would need. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The location is quiet but loved hearing the church bells ring in the late morning. The views from the windows in our unit were just beautiful! The property has a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the valley as well as garden and a modern-day gym and sauna for guest. We found our host Arrigo and Ellen very warm and responsive to our needs. We purchased a Carta Unica card for a discount pass to see the beautifully historical Duomo cathedral and 7 other historical sites. Our host had great suggestions for restaurants, markets, and excursions. Our only regret is that we did not stay 3 more days. We are looking forward to the winery tour and cooking class next time with friends since the prpoerty has several units.

Highly recommend!
We stayed here in early June with our extended family, and so used all of the residences. These are high end accommodations - while the palazzo itself is quite old, the interior of each apartment was very modern with everything we needed. We also used the gym on the ground level, which was fully equipped. Every one was very comfortable, and we had more than enough room to gather as a group for cocktails each evening before walking to dinner. Our hosts were extremely helpful, with great dinner and activity suggestions, including hikes, wine tastings and historic walking tours. We will definitely be back, and have already referred many friends!
