Burrowed in the heart of Chianti Classico, you’ll find the magnificent Villa Vigneto Estate – which sits amongst the vines of an organic winery producing the finest wines and the silkiest of olive oils.
The stone village estate beautifully encompasses Tuscan architecture through exposed beans, terracotta tiling and rustic furnishing – trust us when we say that the interiors are truly a sight for sore eyes.
Air-conditioned throughout, guests will be able to choose from varying accommodation ranging from bedrooms to garden apartments. The garden rooms benefit from a secluded outdoor patio, whereas the rest offer spectacular views. But wherever you decide to stay, we promise you’ll be in a wonderful position.
Guests can also enjoy two swimming pools with surrounding sun loungers – the perfect spot to kick back, relax and bask in the Italian sun (with a drink in hand). If you feel like a little adventure then you can also enjoy the on-site activities which include a tennis court, and intricate hiking trails.
- Villa Vigneto Estate is in somewhat of a rural location, so car hire is advisable.
- On request and at an additional cost villa can be rented fully catered, please enquiry for more info.
- The professional kitchen can be used only by the staff, who are happy to prepare delicious food for you and there is a restaurant on site.
- Villa Vigneto is an independent villa on the same estate that can be booked for 8 guests.
- When maximum occupancy is not booked, certain rooms will be unavailable for guests to use.
- Please note that your booking will only be confirmed once we have checked availability with the owner or their property manager.

Here is a wonderfully rustic setting for a romantic wedding, surrounded by the vineyards of an organic vinery. Your celebrations will be accompanied by fine Chianti wine as you admire the fine views of verdant wooded hills and olive groves. Before the special day, relax with a touch of vinotherapy in the first class spa. Tranquillity and simplicity are in abundance at this stone village estate with its authentic Tuscan architecture, only a short distance away from Gaiole, listed as one of the most idyllic places in Europe. There are some lovely spots here for both ceremony and feasting where many happy memories will be created with family and friends.
Wedding Reception
Up to 120 guests could be seated for a reception in the garden near the villa cellar, or up to 120 in the larger circular garden. Indoors, a reception for up to 80 guests could be held in the nearby covered restaurant.
Dancing can take place on one of the two terraces with music continuing as late as 2.00 a.m. while indoors there is no time limit or noise restrictions.
Wedding Ceremony
A symbolic ceremony could take place in the garden by the wine cellar.
A civil ceremony is possible at the local town hall, 5km from the site.
The owners can provide details of an English-speaking celebrant.
Where to Stay
Up to 66 people are able to stay on site.
A handful of additional guests could find accommodation in the nearby town, 5km from the property.
The owners are able to supply details of local transport firms.
Wedding Planning
The venue can assist with providing a list of vendors for open bar, cake design, live music and flower decoration.
Catering
All catering can be carried out by the on-site restaurant.
The estate produces its own wines and loves to have these used at the event.
Other information
The venue recommends always hiring a marquee. They can arrange for the rental of marquees for up to 120 guests, which will be quoted on a case by case basis.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
