The villa is located a mere fifteen minutes from Siena, and less than 45 minutes from the cultural centre of Florence. Originally built in the early 15th century, this outstanding villa was renovated between 1996 and 1998 and is now one of the preeminent ultra luxury villas in the region. Set on a spacious and charming estate, the villa is encircled by gorgeous gardens where you'll be enchanted by the gorgeous flowers, fruit and olive trees.

- Please note up to 32 guests can be accommodated at Villa Carli, with two bedrooms using sofa beds.
- When minimum occupancy is booked, the dependence will not be accessible to guests.
- When maximum occupancy is booked for 32 guests, it is compulsory to hire additional villa staff, payable locally.
- Guests are required to sign a House Rules document before arrival.
- Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

About the surrounding area of Villa CarliThis beautiful region of Tuscany has something for everyone with thermal springs, extraordinary scenery, oodles of history and culture and beautiful beaches a couple of hours away. Oh, and did we mention the wine? Tuscany is the top Italian destination for wine buffs with an incredible number of high-quality vineyards. Those seeking an active holiday will find incredible hiking and cycling paths to explore.
A short drive away…
Colle di Val D’Elsa (10 km) is a beautiful fortified town renowned for its perfectly preserved ‘tunnel’ streets, crystal glass and ice cream!
Monteriggioni (17 km) is a gorgeous fortified hamlet surrounded by small stone villages, vineyards, olive groves, meadows and woods. Referenced by Dante in his Divine Comedy the 14 gigantic towers of Monteriggioni are all still intact and a must-see.
San Gimignano (24 km) is known as a "medieval Manhattan" due to its tall towers which dominate the landscape and is a picturesque medieval town with plenty of frescoes and galleries to visit.
Volterra (33 km) is an ancient hill town with extensive Etruscan tombs and a fantastic museum showcasing excavations of the former. The city is also renowned for its alabaster workshops.
Siena (35 km) - For those seeking fantastic food and spectacular art Siena makes a great day trip with a plethora of fabulous restaurants and Gothic architecture. Rivalling Florence for Renaissance palazzi and art, Siena’s churches, galleries and museums could keep you busy for weeks.

Just fifteen minutes from the romantic town of Siena is one of the most luxurious villas in Tuscany, a most suitable venue for that large extravagant wedding of your dreams. A restored 15C residence, its fine furnishings, frescoes and high ceilings are reminiscent of an age when elegance and style abounded. Glorious gardens of lawns, flowers, cypress, fruit and olive trees combine with a stunning outlook over the rolling Tuscan landscape to make the perfect backdrop to your ceremony. Later watch the sun set over the hills as you dine beneath the stars on the impressive banquet table and imbibe some of the region’s finest wines.
Wedding Reception
A reception with 200 plus guests can take place by the swimming pool or in the grounds of the villa, with the possibility of a hired marquee.
Dancing for up to 50 people can take place inside the villa or larger groups can dance in the grounds or under a marquee with music playing outside until midnight and as late as you like indoors.
Wedding Ceremony
Both civil and symbolic ceremonies are possible at this villa and would take place near the swimming pool area. The town hall for the civil documentation is 10km from the villa.
The owners are able to provide details of an English-speaking celebrant.

All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.

Beautiful & Impressive
Hard not to find this villa both beautiful and impressive in equal measure. Well situated near the local town which has both great restaurants and supermarkets. Also close are several historic towns. Sienna and Florence an easy drive away, this villa is perfect for a Tuscan exploration. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the owner is on hand to answer any questions. She is very accommodating.

Family memories of a lifetime
Villa Carli was the perfect setting for our family holiday. The villa is spectacular, the food by the chef and his staff is outrageous, the accommodations are luxurious and comfortable and the staff became like family immediately! The staff diligently tended to every need and want of our family of 25 which included 5 year old twins. Special attention to every detail was accomplished quietly behind the scenes and the results were amazing. We were pampered beyond compare!!! Room tip: Every room was beautiful and had it's own personality!

Beautiful Italian villa
Villa Carli is a beautiful villa situated in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, between Siena and Florence, and is the ideal accommodation for anybody who loves nature and luxury. I had a wonderful experience! The villa is encircled by luxury gardens on top of a hill and enjoys a breathtaking view over Siena. The concierge explained to me that the main building, owned for centuries by one Roman aristocratic family, dates back to 1400 and was restructured with loving care during 1996, while additional construction was added between the 18th and 19th century, transforming the building into a splendid holiday villa in Italy.
I had a wonderful experience in Villa Carli, the owners are very polite, the waiters are very good. I just love the Italian food and theirs is the best, there is a beautiful pool table and there is a big old mill. At Villa Carli they even organize activities. The villa its absolutely stunning; the furnishings are antique and very cured. The concierge speaks English perfectly and even the owners do. Villa Carli is the ideal place to spend your holidays in Tuscany. The villa has kept intact all its original charm: spacious and restful areas, pleasant and harmonious architecture, atmospheres of times gone by. I will certainly come again!!!!
