Castellare Corti is a lovely villa situated in the Chianti area between the provinces of Florence and Siena. The location, in the heart of Tuscany, is rich in history with many Renaissance cities and towns nearby, including Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and Volterra.
Many activities are available in the area surrounding the villa. The lovely, private swimming pool, is beautifully positioned and surrounded by gardens, vineyards and olive trees. A day lounging by the pool in the Tuscan sun is well deserved and an occasional dip in the pool is the perfect way to cool off. More theatrical visitors can take advantage of the new open air theatre in the woods.
There are many interesting country roads to travel on and breathtaking vistas to enjoy. Cycling or riding motorbikes or scooters are all perfect ways to enjoy the scenery. All are available from rental agencies nearby the villa.
A tennis court at a private villa adjacent to the property is available for guests.
Amid the vineyards, olive groves, roses and Mediterranean plants and herbs, are the scents, tastes and colors of this special region. This Chianti villa rental will provide an experience of wonderful discovery and sincere pleasure.

Castellare Corti is an ancient manor house composed of 7 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, dining room and kitchen.

- Four double bedrooms with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower
- Two twin bedrooms with 2 beds (can be joined as a double)and en-suite bathroom with shower
- Single Bedroom: single bed (an extra single bed can be added), view of the garden and the area in front of the Villa, bathroom with shower
- Two living Rooms: two large and beautifully bright living rooms with the added comfort of satellite TV, a DVD and CD player
- Dining area holds a grand dining room table, three meters long, comfortable chairs, sideboards and antique wooden cupboards graciously furnish this room. An impressive fireplace decorates one entire wall in this perfect location to share your lunches and dinners
- Well equipped large kitchen with professional stoves, an industrial dishwasher, double refrigerator and a marble topped table provides the necessary tools to create wonderful food, along with a barbeque located directly outside the kitchen door, or in the kitchen’s oven

Location
About the surrounding area of Castellare CortiVilla Castellare Corti is situated near Florence in Chianti area, the heart of Tuscany. About 1.5 km from the town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa there are some restaurants and a supermarket. In the town Poggibonsi, approximately 15 km away, there is a large supermarket and wide selection of shops.
The Chianti villa rental is part of the one thousand year old hamlet of Palazzuolo and is surrounded by a park full of olive trees, roses and Mediterranean herbs. It has a large swimming pool and courtyards which can be enjoyed in the fine weather.

Situated on a ridge overlooking the valleys and hills of the Chianti area, Villa Castellare Corti offers a dream location for weddings and ceremonies. In the heart of the tranquil Tuscan countryside and beneath the Chianti sky, the large garden surrounding the villa is suitable for ceremonies of all kinds, from weddings to musical events. It offers a unique and picturesque background scenario for a celebration, surrounded by the colour and typical Tuscan atmosphere.
Wedding Reception
A reception of up to 100 people can take place in the villa grounds with the option to hire a marquee. There is a wooded area near the theatre for up to 90 people, a new covered veranda for up to 70 guests or an indoor dining room where up to 40 can be seated.
Dancing for up to 100 people can continue under the veranda in the garden or in the theatre room. For groups of up to 60 guests there is a first-floor room in the villa.
Music can continue to be played outside until 1am and as late as you like inside with no restrictions.
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony can take place in the grounds and gardens surrounding the villa or there is a church 30m from the villa which might be available for ceremony use.
The owners are able to provide details for an English-speaking celebrant.
Where to Stay
Up to 13 people can sleep in the villa. Nearby, there is a range of other accommodation where several other guests could stay. There is also a guesthouse on site which is able to sleep a further 5 people – extra cost and on request.
The owners are able to supply details of local transport firms.
Wedding Planning
The venue owner can help with simple requests or can suggest planners for more complex events. Clients may also provide their own planner.
Catering
For up to 50 guests, the catering is done in-house while for larger groups the owners can bring in external caterers or the client may provide their own.
Other information
Low season – minimum 4 days stay, other seasons minimum 7 nights, Saturday changeover day.
Owners can supply contacts for all wedding suppliers that might be required.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.

I fell for it's great location, it's close to a village in the heart of Chianti and close to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. The extensive lawns, the large pool , the private theatre are also captivating.
Are there any interesting stories in its history?
It was a noble family villa, then a monastery and then a farm, we restored it to how it looked like when it was a villa.
What’s the strangest or most difficult guest request you’ve ever received?
I was told to put an umbrella in the pool in addition to the large gazebo because an old photo was showing an umbrella.
