Il Sensale can be described as nothing less than majestic! This imperial home nonetheless retains an original farmhouse feel; set within the sweetest and verdant, rural spot, it offers a secluded, stylish idyll overlooking rolling acres of Renaissance landscapes.
This elegant, independent home imbibes all the natural beauty of the region, along with original rustic charm: farmhouse style terracotta sloping tiled roods, arches, pale olive coloured shutters, swaying poplar trees and views across olive groves and vineyards make this home every inch the tranquil yet tasteful haven it is.
The outdoors spaces are sumptuous; immaculately maintained lawns and gardens, offering an array of different levels, open lawns ideal for games and fun, or secluded nooks for romantic meals; wonderful poolside privacy by way of patio and lounging space, and at every turn, bright, fragrant flowering plants.
Set on its hilltop, the views are unparalleled, from every angle. Recently restored, to an impeccable standard, Il Sensale combines the rustic farmhouse theme with certain and unadulterated luxury, amid the undulating Tuscan hills surrounding this oasis of colour, style and charisma!
The full drive is scented with oak trees and lemon trees, sweeping up to this magnificent estate. Il Sensale offers six bedrooms, and thus accommodates up to twelve guests across the main villa and guesthouse. This home is ideal for those seeking a real retreat from the bustle of the crowds and stresses of the modern world - the entire lower ground floor is set up as a self-contained spa! Worthy of the A-list crowd, space provides Turkish baths, sauna, jacuzzi and wet rooms - what better way to enable the stresses of life to drain away in this peerless Tuscan escape!

About the surrounding area of Villa Il SensaleSet within its grounds, Il Sensale is just five minutes from the village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa.
The region is known for its rich culinary heritage, including truffles, cured meats and traditional sweets and pastries. Florence and Siena are a both no more than an hour’s drive from the villa.
Close to the main cities in Tuscany know for their artistic heritage: Pietrasanta, famous for art galleries and an excellent array of restaurants, this area of Northern Tuscany is rich with culture and history: archaeological sites, national parks, castles, mountain trails and open-air theatre, guests will have ample options to choose from.
The Tuscan landscape is considered among the best that Italy has to offer, with its beautiful hills, elegant architecture, olive trees and vineyards the views at every turn are enchanting and awash with seasonally changing colour.

Best Suited For: All AgesIl Sensale is ideal for children of all ages. The excellent, expansive grounds and lawns, with surrounded woodlands and many hidden spots for exploring, will offer hours of discovery and fun for children.
The pool is stunning, with elegant day beds and sun lounging space around it, children will enjoy hours of splashy fun, or perfect their moves while parents can look on, enjoying a cold beer or good book. The jacuzzi is always a hit!
For day trips, among the highlights for children in Tuscany, Pinocchio Park Collodi is a great day out - Collodi is home to a theme park dedicated to Pinocchi and his adventures, with activities like literary itineraries, buildings and sculptures set amidst the greenery, art exhibitions and illustrations, puppet making workshops and more. Rather than being a Disney style park, it is more a cultural and natural environment, very Italian in style.
Pistoia zoo is located in the hills near Pistoia and is one of the most famous zoos in Italy; covering a space of seven hectares and an array of species for a fun and educational day out.
The water park, Aqua Village is located in Follonica, near Grosetto, and offers a range of slides and rides from gentle toddler splash pools to more thrill-seeker level for older children.
From hiking, to horse riding, to waterspouts, to cultural heritage, children of all ages will learn so much from a visit to Tuscany: what could be more enchanting than a day of dolphin watching in the reserve known as Pelagos Sanctuary in Viareggio, followed by a meal in a local hilltop restaurant - offering sublime, flavoursome local specialities followed by fantastic gelato and cream filled pastry treats that the region is known for.
