Villa Atenasio holds a brilliant location situated in one of Sicily’s most popular coastal spots: Taormina, with gorgeous beaches such as Mazzarò, Isola Bella and Letojanni all within a short distance. There is plenty to see, do and explore all just a short car journey away making this the perfect choice of base for families looking for a Sicilian escape!
The villa has been beautifully and lovingly designed with high attention to detail with a traditional Sicilian style and elegant interiors and furnishings. The villa can sleep up to ten guests across five beautiful bedrooms. The accommodation is laid out over two levels, on the ground floor a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a large living area with sitting room with TV, lounge with big screen and projector, a dining room, fully-equipped kitchen and guest bathroom. From the living room two staircases lead to the first floor where there are four spacious bedrooms, three doubles and one twin and four bathrooms.
The outside space is equally as attractive. The large private pool is the perfect spot to soak up the surroundings and the warm sunshine while enjoying the spectacular views over the bay of Taormina. The dining facilities on the terrace are fantastic for those looking to indulge in some al fresco dining while in sunny Sicily!
What you should know…
- Those travelling with very small children should ensure they are not left unattended when using the feature staircase due to its open nature.
- The 6-person price includes use of three bedrooms, the 8-person price features four bedrooms whilst the 10-person price includes all five bedrooms. When a lower occupancy is booked, the remaining bedrooms will be closed off.
- The centre of Taormina is within a 25-mins walk, mostly uphill.
- Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- While there is no private parking at the villa, please note that there is public parking nearby.
- Please note that your booking will only be confirmed once we have checked availability with the owner or their property manager.

About the surrounding area of Villa AtenasioVilla Atenasio has a fantastic location on the edge of one of Sicily's most glamorous spots, Taormina. The centre of town is just a few minutes away from the villa and with its spectacular scenery, interesting medieval quarter and bustling boutiques along Corso Umberto I, it really is a must visit. From the villa, just a few minutes’ drive or by cable car away are the close beaches of Mazzarò and Isola Bella.
The popular resort of Letojanni is twenty minutes away and offers a slower-paced relaxed feel with a gorgeous beach, excellent local cuisine and the main square, Piazza Durante makes a great spot to people watch while enjoying your morning cappuccino. Catania, the villages on the slopes of Mount Etna and the Alcantara gorges can all be easily reached.

| Minimum stay | 7 nights. All other durations on request. |
| Changeover day | Saturday in high season. Flexible during all other periods. |
| Pets welcome? | Not allowed. |
| End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

Perfect for a multi family stay
Villa Atenasio was perfect for a multi generational family holiday. Configuration of bedrooms and lounge and dining areas meant that all guests had plenty of space. Likewise the outdoor terrace, large pool with plenty of sunbed space, but also a shaded area partially separated by a hedge. Good location, walking distance to town. Beautiful views overlooking town and sea. We were well looked after by Nicolo and his team.
Our only criticisms are that the downstairs bedroom, although large, needs more drawer storage, and that guests should be made aware that one of the bedrooms has no window or natural light. But definitely recommend this villa. -

We spent a wonderful holiday at Villa Atenasio. Such a beautiful villa and such a lovely city! We hope to return sooner than later. And hopefully this pandemic will ease away in this new year.
