For an incredible stay in beautiful Le Marche, Tenuta Castelletto offers luxury, authenticity and a wonderful range of optional high-end services, only a short drive from the delightful sandy beaches of this remarkable coastline.
This magnificent eight-acre estate, with glorious gardens, two swimming pools, a private tennis court, yoga studio and views towards the sea, features two exquisite homes which can sleep up to 20 guests across ten bedrooms.
First of all, the impressive villa with its six en suite bedrooms – expect stunning interiors, elegant living spaces and floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of Le Marche landscapes and the sea. Find contemporary features from individually controlled air-conditioning to Smart TVs and Bose speakers. Designed with both classic and modern style, this chic villa is sure to impress you in every way.
A decadent spa is the perfect place to relax with its Swedish sauna, hot tub and steam room whilst the state-of-the-art gym looks out towards the Adriatic. Soak up the sun on the private terrace or dip into the heated swimming pool looking out to the olive groves and ancient vineyards. Find a quiet spot in the villa’s garden surrounded by the aromas of rosemary and verbena.
Just next door is the delightful casa, connected to the villa via their gardens. This is where the owner’s stay when they are in Italy and it’s been beautifully designed as a home-from-home with yet more gorgeous interiors and picturesque views. The casa’s four inviting bedrooms (one of which is a pretty annexe) feature luxurious beds, restful décor and modern en suite bathrooms.
Follow the little footpaths through the vast gardens and discover the tenuta’s second amazing swimming pool – a place to truly relax on the poolside terrace, perhaps with a cocktail prepared in the bar at the spacious pool house which also features a second gym and studio space. Play tennis on the flood-lit court amongst the 400 olive trees, relax in the brand-new air-conditioned yoga studio then gather together with your friends and family to feast in the shaded pagoda, near the pizza oven, barbecue and outdoor kitchen, with ample space for everyone with magical vistas.
Take advantage of the tenuta’s concierge service, making it possible to arrange optional extras such as yoga or gym instructors, babysitters, cookery lessons, a private chef and tailor-made experiences and excursions. There’s even a bespoke VIP service which you can book which includes extras such as prosecco on arrival, a continental breakfast each morning, daily housekeeping and other lovely touches such as fresh flowers and life-style magazines.

- Please keep an eye on young children on any open-sided staircases and in the vast and partially terraced grounds which may be steep and uneven at times
- The caretakers house is also within the grounds of Casa Castelletto, yet they remain respectful of guests' value privacy
- In Villa Castelletto further two beds are available on request in the en-suite attic bedroom (suitable for yoga instructors/retreat organisers) at an additional cost - please enquire

About the surrounding area of Tenuta CastellettoJust 40km south of Ancona, in the stunning Le Marche countryside, Tenuta Castelletto enjoys an enviable setting amongst beautiful hills and vineyards, just a ten-minute drive to the sea.
A pretty little hilltop borgo is just over 1km away where you will find a couple of places to drink or eat, a grocery shop selling some essentials and a small bar that makes the most amazing home-made ice-cream that you can buy to take back to your home. Just outside the village, a short walk away, is a good pizzeria with pretty views (it’s usually a good idea to reserve a table here in advance).
Just 5km away by car (or bike following a cycling trail downhill from nearby the tenuta) is a delightful seaside town where you will find plenty of shops, great restaurants as well as a long stretch of mainly sandy beach either side of a little fishing port. There’s a picturesque promenade that backs the beach with a walking and cycling lane – wander along the coastline, choose a beachside restaurant or enjoy one of the many gelaterias in the warm Italian sun. As well as summer lidos offering umbrellas and chairs to rent for the day, there are also public spaces on the beach – soak up the relaxed, family vibe in this charming Adriatic resort.
Le Marche coastline features the highest number of Blue Flag beaches in mainland Italy and there are plenty close by to explore. Those seeking incredible landscapes should drive north to the idyllic Riviera del Conero where you can discover stunning scenery, watersports, golf, horse-riding, pretty villages and wild nature – some of the coves are only accessible by boat. Further south you will find the brilliant beaches of the Riviera delle Palme with lovely towns and villages such as Grottammare, Pedaso and Cupra Marittima, all within an hour.
The countryside also offers a wealth of opportunities to explore as you come across old towns and picturesque hilltop villages. Start in Macerata (26km), home to the Sferisterio opera festival each August whilst Fermo (32km) and Loreto (20km) are also nearby. Other historic gems to be explored include Ascoli Piceno (85km) with one of the most magnificent squares in Italy and the lovely town of Sarnano (60km), classified as one of Italy’s Borghi Più Belli.
There seems to be endless activities in Le Marche, from hiking, cycling or mountain biking through spectacular landscapes to horse-riding along idyllic beaches or in the Sibillini mountains. You’ll also find white-water rafting, paragliding as well as a large choice of watersports and diving.

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies will love the location of Tenuta Castelletto with its sea and countryside views and so many attractions close by. This area offers brilliant beaches, plenty of green space and little children’s parks as well as plenty of do for all ages.
It’s only 5km to the local seaside town – look out for Italian families enjoying the many beachside restaurants, lidos and gelaterias in the summer and at weekends. The beaches here are mainly sandy and they are backed by a picturesque promenade with a lane for walking and one for cycling. Watch games of beach volleyball, find a local pizzeria for lunch or choose a beach club where you can relax by the sea (there are also plenty of public parts of the beach too).
There are many other areas of the beautiful Le Marche coastline which features the most blue-flag beaches in mainland Italy. Riviera del Conero is known for its natural beauty with some coves only accessible by boat and it’s also a great place for watersports (sailing, kite-surfing, canoeing etc), horse-riding and lovely walks. Further south, the Riviera delle Palme also boasts amazing sandy beaches and fantastic facilities.
For a day away from the sea, another great day out (and a good way to escape the summer heat) is a visit to the caves at Grotte di Frasassi, around an hour away – it could also be combined with a trip to the interesting Temple of Valadier in the same area.

Set amongst rolling hills of olive trees and vineyards and with gorgeous views towards the Adriatic coast, Tenuta Castelletto makes for a fine wedding venue allowing you to experience the beauty of Le Marche alongside its delicious cuisine and excellent wines.
Arrange your bespoke and intimate event alongside the expertise of the venue’s creative wedding planners who have a great eye for detail and design. You can either host your celebration across the glorious gardens of either villa or, for a smaller reception in cooler months, dine with loved ones indoors at stylish Villa Castelletto.
Tenuta Castelletto is all about flexible spaces and authentic luxury in a beautiful and romantic Italian setting.
Wedding Reception
An intimate indoor reception for up to 20 people can be hosted at Villa Castelletto.
Alternatively, a beautiful outdoor event for a maximum of 55 guests can be set up in the gardens of either villa.
A marquee can be hired for a disco or dancing can take place beneath poolside gazebos.
Marquee hire (for a maximum of 55 people) is recommended, especially out of season.
There are no time restrictions other than music needs to stop by midnight.
Wedding Ceremony
An English speaking priest can be provided.
Where to Stay
Up to 20 guests can stay across the two villas at Tenuta Castelletto.
Other guests can stay in local hotels, villas and other accommodation – the owners can help you source rooms as well as local transportation.
Wedding Planning
The venue is flexible in this respect – you can bring your own or the venue can provide a wedding planning service.
Catering
The venue uses external caterers who are experienced in dealing with quality weddings. Guests can also bring their own catering – corkage charges apply.
Other Information
Weddings can take place at Villa Castelletto at any time of year. Weddings can take place at Casa Castelletto at any time excluding July and August. In all cases, a minimum stay may apply, depending on the season.
There is a mandatory charge to hire either of the villas for a wedding or event (extra to hire both) on top of the usual rental charges.
Extras that can be arranged, at an additional cost, include flowers, lighting, photography, a dancefloor, band, DJ, musicians etc.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
