A mere 2km away from the nearest beach and close to the bustling town of Capo d'Orlando, Casa Ventaglio is a brilliant base for exploring northern Sicily. This sea view home can be rented to sleep six or twelve guests, making it flexible to your party's needs.
Set over three floors and offering several terraces, the villa has plenty of space for your group. On the lower ground floor, there is a modern, fully-fitted kitchen with all the crockery and appliances you could need to prepare meals and snacks. There is also a living room with a sofa bed, TV, bathroom, and laundry area.
Moving up to the ground floor, you will discover the heart of the home, the main living space. The open-plan living and dining room is a great place to gather for drinks in the evening and enjoy panoramic vistas over the dazzling blue sea. This floor is also home to three inviting bedrooms; two double rooms and a room with two single beds. The first floor is where you can find the remaining bedrooms; a large room with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and two bedrooms with sofa beds.
Outdoors, the home boasts several terraces which make the most of the views of the sea. There is an inviting private pool, perfect for cooling off on a warm afternoon, a covered dining space, comfy outdoor sofas and even a jacuzzi to enjoy a long soak after a busy day.
If you need to pick up some fresh produce for your evening meal or would like to go out for breakfast, there is a good selection of shops and restaurants overlooking Capo d'Orlando marina just 2km from the home.
For a wider range of amenities, head to the nearby seaside town of Capo d'Orlando which is 4km away and is a popular place to visit. In town, there are all the shops, cafés and restaurants you could need and attractions such as the historic lighthouse and Castello Bastione. However, this area's main draw is the incredible beaches; the closest is Capo d'Orlando beach which is 2km away. Many more beautiful beaches are dotted along this stretch of coastline, including the much-loved Spiaggia San Gregorio. You can also take boat trips from the marina to the nearby Aeolian islands, which should not be missed.

- This home can be rented as a villa for six guests or 12. When renting for six guests, one of the floors will be closed off.
- An additional guest, utilising a sofa bed, can be added to the booking for an extra charge.
- Two of the villa’s bedrooms are furnished with sofa beds.
- For larger groups, Casa Rolanda, Casa Maria Eugenia and Casa Cannamela are within the same compound, and all three villas can be rented out together.
- We recommend that guests arrive by car to see more of Sicily; parking is available at the villa with video surveillance.

About the surrounding area of Casa VentaglioWhen holidaying at Casa Ventaglio, you will find yourself amidst the beautiful coastal landscape of northern Sicily. Here you can experience sumptuous local cuisine, visit countless sun-drenched beaches, explore historic villages and dine in the bustling town of Capo d'Orlando. Everything you could need is just a stone’s throw away from the villa, so you will have plenty to see and do without travelling far.
The closest beach to the villa is a mere 2km away and is a free, natural beach called Spiaggia di Testa di Monaco, a lovely spot for sunbathing and paddling in the sea. This is just one of many beaches along this shoreline; another you could visit is Spiaggia di San Gregorio, a visitor's favourite and under 3km away. The pretty marina is also easily reached at 2km away and is a fabulous spot for enjoying a seafood dinner with idyllic sea views. Here at the marina, you will find the closest amenities: a range of shops, cafés and restaurants lining the boat-filled harbour.
When looking for a wider array of amenities, Capo d'Orlando town centre is only 4km from Casa Ventaglio. The town has a rich history and was founded during the medieval Crusades, although it has a modern, lively feel. Once a small fishing village, Capo d'Orlando has grown over time and now offers visitors plenty of attractions and things to do. As you stroll through the town’s streets and down the sweeping promenade, you will find many shops, markets and eateries. History lovers will enjoy seeing the unique octagonal lighthouse, the hilltop castle ruins and the 17th-century Sanctuary of Maria Santissima. The town is also known by fans of writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, who wrote The Gattopardo here while staying with his cousins, the Piccolo brothers, at the impressive Villa Piccolo, which can be visited. The grand villa, which sits in an elevated position overlooking the surrounding landscape, was the home of the Piccolos, who were painters, poets and photographers in the 19th century. The villa is now a museum and one of the area’s most popular visitor attractions.
If you would like to get away from the busy towns and coast to see more of Sicily, you could always head inland to enjoy a day of hiking. Alternatively, you can book an organised horse trek which usually lasts a full day and is a wonderful way to see the rugged interior landscape and historic ruins.
If you don’t mind driving a little further for a day trip, you should spend the day in the vibrant city of Cefalù, 81km away. With maze-like medieval streets packed with shops, restaurants and historic buildings, an incredible Arab-Norman cathedral and a gorgeous horse-shoe bay lined with beaches, Cefalù is an amazing place.
