Set among vineyards and silvery olive groves, Casa Valdarno sits quietly on a hillside overlooking the wide sweep of the Florentine Valdarno. From the moment you arrive, the pace softens. Terracotta walls glow warmly in the sun, cypress trees frame the view, and the countryside stretches out in gentle layers beyond the garden. 

The farmhouse has been carefully renovated in keeping with Tuscan tradition, and its interiors feel both welcoming and grounded in place. Inside, exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors run throughout, lending warmth and continuity to each room. The ground floor centres around a comfortable lounge where an ancient fireplace becomes a natural gathering point, particularly atmospheric on cooler evenings and still functional for grilling. Nearby, the dining room and well-equipped kitchen open the space up for shared meals, long conversations and unhurried mornings. A small double bedroom with its own toilet completes this level. 

Upstairs, the sleeping quarters are arranged with families and groups in mind. Twin rooms sit alongside double bedrooms with additional single beds, allowing flexible arrangements without losing a sense of calm or privacy. Bathrooms are practical and well appointed, one with both bath and shower for leisurely evenings after a day exploring. 

Outside, life naturally drifts towards the garden. Directly in front of the house, the swimming pool is set within open lawns, offering far-reaching views across the valley. Sun loungers line the poolside, while an outdoor shower and shaded corners make it easy to spend entire days outside. Adjacent to the living area, a dining table and built-in barbecue create a simple but inviting space for summer lunches and evenings spent under the stars. 

Casa Valdarno is a place to slow down and reconnect with the rhythms of rural Tuscany, with nature, history and some of the region’s most celebrated towns all within easy reach. 

• The swimming pool is open seasonally from 1st May to 30th September only. 
• Late arrivals after 8pm incur an additional fee payable on arrival.
