Villa Pavlos is situated on a hill, offering views of olive groves, the sea, and Lefkes town, the capital of Lefkada, in the Greek Ionian Sea. The villa is 22 kilometers from Aktion International Airport in Preveza, or accessible by island hopping from Ithaki, Kefalonia, or Meganisi. It is a short drive to the main town, where visitors can find provisions for their stay. The villa is located north of the island, connected to mainland Greece by a causeway.
Nearby, along the west coast, there are several renowned golden sandy beaches with clear waters, such as Agios Ioannis, Porto Katsiki, Agiofili, Kathisma, and Egremni. Many beaches offer amenities like sun loungers, umbrellas, water sports, and cafes. Lefkada is also known for its forests and mountains, providing opportunities for walking, trekking, hiking, climbing, or cycling. Guided tours are available along established tracks, allowing visitors to explore the island’s flora and fauna. Mount Elati, the highest peak on Lefkada at 1,150 meters, offers stunning views. Various activities such as horse riding, scuba diving, fishing, tennis, or yoga and massage sessions are available for those seeking an active holiday.
A private boat trip is recommended for exploring the eastern coastline's islets, hidden coves, and beaches, with options for rib or sailing boats.
Lefkes, the capital, features the central square of Agios Spyridon, several Greek Orthodox churches, and museums, including the Archeological, Gramophone, and Folklore Museums. Visitors can enjoy local cuisine at family-run tavernas. The fishing village of Vassiliki, 38 kilometres from the villa, is known for its beaches and water sports, especially windsurfing. From here, ferries provide access to Ithaki and Kefalonia. Poros village offers traditional houses, winding alleys, a fourth-century castle, and the Church of Analipsi.
